Chip Up

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Players just finished a 10 minute chip color up break and cards are now in the air. T1,000 chips are no longer in play.

Berger Takes Massive Pot from Ybarra

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Seth Berger opened for 50,000 from the cutoff, and Ruben Ybarra called him from the big blind.

The flop came {5-Spades}{a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}, and Ybarra checked and called 52,000. The turn was the {2-Hearts}, and Ybarra once more checked. Berger fired 85,000 this time, only to see Ybarra check-raise to 285,000. Berger called immediately. Ybarra fired out 300,000 more on the {q-Hearts} river, and Berger began thinking. A short time later, he made the call.

Ybarra: {a-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}
Berger: {a-Spades}{6-Diamonds}

Berger's kicker barely played, and he gathered the biggest pot of the tournament.

"He WILL Win the Hand."

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Preflop, Darren Rabinowitz raised to 50,000 from the cutoff. He was only called by Seth Berger in the big blind.

The flop fell {7-Spades}{8-Spades}{3-Hearts} and both players checked.

On the {A-Spades} turn, Berger checked. Rabinowitz bet out 62,000. Then, Berger put in a check raise to 160,000. Rabinowitz took his time before mucking {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts} face up. Berger did not show his hand.

"Seth will win the hand," the dealer announced as Berger scooped the pot.

"He WILL win the hand!" one of Berger's rail birds yelled after him, which got the table laughing a bit.

Charles Sylvestre raised it up to 50,000 from middle position. Ruben Ybarra three-bet to 120,000, Ping Liu shoved all in from the button for 506,000, and big blind William Guerrero also went all in for 569,000. Sylvestre and Ybarra got out of the way.

Guerrero: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Liu: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

The flop came {7-Hearts}{j-Spades}{4-Clubs}, but the turn brought a {4-Hearts} for a mighty river sweat. Unfortunately for Liu, the river was the {j-Clubs}, and he became the first player eliminated at the final table.

Ybarra Takes One From Ta

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

From middle position, Binh Ta raised to 50,000. All other players folded except Ruben Ybarra in the big blind who made the call.

On the {7-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{2-Hearts} board, Ybarra checked. Ta bet 40,000 and Ybarra made the call.

The turn was the {9-Clubs}. Ybarra checked again. This time Ta made a bet of 120,000. Ybarra then put in a check raise to 400,000. Ta tanked a bit then folded his hand.

Seth Baker Eliminated in 10th Place ($28,419)

Seth Baker

Preflop, Ruben Ybarra raised to 65,000. Action folded to Seth Baker who moved all in for just about 300,000. Action folded back around to Ybarra who made the call.

"Jacks," he said before turning up the {J-Spades}{J-Clubs}.

Baker was well behind with {4-Spades}{4-Clubs} and he did not catch up on the {J-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{9-Hearts}{A-Hearts}{A-Spades} board. There will be no final table appearance just yet for David 'ODB' Baker's brother, but it was a good showing with a deep run nonetheless.

Ybarra breached the 2,000,000 chip mark with that hand and will head into the official final table as the leader.
