Hand #41: Dom Denotaristefani raised from the button only to have Ronnie Bardah three-bet from the small blind. It folded back to Denotaristefani and he called the bet. Hand #48: On a flop of, {5-Spades}{6-Spades}{7-Hearts}, Ben Yu fired out a bet and Denotaristefani called. Both players checked the {K-Diamonds} turn and the {7-Clubs} river. Yu showed queen-high and took down the pot.

Five More Hands of Varying Degrees of Interest

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Hand #60: With a dead small blind, Todd Witteles raised and Michael "Big Store" Moore called from the big blind. Moore check-called a bet on the {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop, and then both players checked the {8-Diamonds} turn. The {10-Spades} river saw Moore bet and Witteles think for about 30 seconds before folding.

Hand #61: Witteles raised from early position only to have Dom Denotaristefani three-bet from middle position. Witteles responded with a four-bet to 48,000, Denotaristefani called and it was heads up to the {2-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}. Witteles bet, Denotaristefani called and the {K-Clubs} turned. Witteles bet once again and this time Denotaristefani folded.

Hand #62: Moore opened for two bets from the button and Brian Aleksa three-bet to 36,000 from the small blind. Moore made it four bets, Aleksa called and the flop came down {6-Spades}{7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}. Aleksa checked, Moore bet and Aleksa called.

After the dealer burned and turned the {2-Clubs}, Aleksa checked and Moore bet. Aleksa took his time before calling and then checked the {4-Spades} river. Moore checked behind and tabled the {A-Spades}{J-Diamonds} and it was good as Aleksa mucked his hand.

"The store is open, boys," announcer Robbie Thompson declared.

Hand #63: Ronnie Bardah raised from middle position and Greg Mueller three-bet from the small blind. Bardah called and then watched Mueller bet the {q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{10-Hearts} flop. Bardah called, the {5-Diamonds} turned and Mueller checked. Bardah checked behind and the {3-Clubs} completed the board on the river. Mueller checked, Bardah bet 24,000 and Mueller folded.

Hand #64: Todd Witteles raised from the small blind and Ben Yu folded from the big blind.

Denotaristefani fired out a c-bet and Nassif called. The turn was the {3-Spades} and Nassif checked once more. Denotaristefani cut out a bet and Nassif went into the tank. Eventually, he let his cards go and Denotaristefani took down the pot.

Hand #68: Denotaristefani raised before the flop and took down the blinds.

Hand #69: Ben Yu opened the action making it two bets to go from middle position. Michael Moore three-bet from the small blind and it folded back to Yu who announced a call.

Mueller Crippled

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Hand #71: Ronnie Bardah made it two bets and Todd Witteles folded from the big blind.

Hand #72: Gabriel Nassif raised and Ben Yu defended from the big blind. The {3-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} flop saw Yu check, Nassif bet and Yu wake up with a check-raise. Nassif got all in for 27,000 holding {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts} and was well out in front of Yu's {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}. Neither the {8-Hearts} turn nor {8-Spades} river changed a thing and Nassif doubled.

Hand #73: Greg Mueller raised from the cutoff, Dom Denotaristefani called from the big blind and the flop fell {6-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{q-Spades}. Denotaristefani check-raised a bet from Mueller, a call was made and the {6-Diamonds} turned. Denotaristefani bet, Mueller called and the {8-Spades} peeled off on the river. Denotaristefani bet and Mueller snap-called with {A-}{Q-}. Unfortunately for him, Denotaristefani rolled over the {8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} for a full house.

Hand #74: Witteles raised and won the blinds.

Hand #75: Mueller raised and Nassif called from the big blind. The {10-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{j-Diamonds} flop saw Nassif check and Mueller bet. Nassif called and then checked the {kh] turn. Mueller did the same and the {2-Spades} completed the board on the river. Nassif bet and Mueller called. Nassif tabled the {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} for the nuts and it was good as Mueller showed a {J-Clubs} before mucking.

Hand #76: Brian Aleksa raised and Nassif called from the small blind. Nassif check-called a bet on the {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop, the {9-Hearts} turned and Nassif ended up check-folding to a bet.

Hand #77: Aleksa got a walk in the big blind.

Greg Mueller Eliminated in 8th Place ($24,721)

Greg Mueller - 8th Place
Greg Mueller - 8th Place

Hand #78: Gabriel Nassif raised from the cutoff and Greg Mueller moved all in from the big blind. Nassif called.

Mueller: {A-Spades}{4-Hearts}
Nassif: {A-Hearts}{J-Spades}

Mueller was dominated heading to the flop and did not improve as it fell {K-Spades}{8-Spades}{K-Diamonds}. The turn brought the {5-Spades}, giving Mueller four spades heading to the river, but he could not come through as the {2-Diamonds} completed the board. The two-time limit hold'em WSOP bracelet winner will have to wait until another day to grab hold of a third title. Mueller will take home $24,721 for his eighth-place finish.

Ben Yu Eliminated in 7th Place ($31,264)

Hand #79: With a dead small blind, Brian Aleksa raised from the button and Todd Witteles three-bet from the big blind. Aleksa called, the flop fell {9-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{2-Spades} and Witteles bet. Aleksa called, the {10-Hearts} turned and this time Witteles checked. Aleksa took the opportunity to bet and Witteles folded.

Hand #80: Witteles raised from the small blind and Ben Yu called from the big. Witteles wasted little time in betting the {3-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop, Yu raised and Witteles three-bet. Yu got the rest of his stack in the middle and discovered the bad news.

Yu: {j-Hearts}{4-Hearts}
Witteles: {j-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}

Witteles held top pair while Yu was on a gutshot straight draw. Neither the {A-Spades} turn nor {10-Hearts} river changed a thing and Yu was eliminated in seventh place. Not too shabby considering he began the day on the second shortest stack.
