Michael Scoops Reiss

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Joseph Michael: {x-}{x-} / {3-Spades}{2-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{7-Spades} / {x-}
John Reiss: {x-}{x-} / {3-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{k-Diamonds} / {x-}

Reiss brought it in, Michael completed, and the action folded back to Reiss, who called. Both players checked on fourth street, and Reiss tanked before betting on fifth.

"Took you that long to bet?" Michael said, calling.

Reiss bet out a little quicker on sixth street, Michael called, and the dealer gave each player a downcard.

"Bet," Michael dared his opponent. "You already have a flush. You don't even have to look."

Reiss ignored this, looking at his seventh card, and then he checked. Michael took the opportunity to bet, and Reiss called.

"Straight," Michael said, fanning jd6s5h].

Reiss folded, and Michael dragged in the pot.

Harig Chopped

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Matt Savage: {x-}{x-} / {2-Clubs} (FOLD)
Richard Tatalovich: {x-}{x-} / {7-Spades}{a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} / {x-}
Unknown Player: {x-}{x-} / {7-Clubs}{2-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} / {x-}
Wilfried Harig: {x-}{x-} / {6-Spades}{j-Hearts}{a-Spades}{8-Clubs} / {x-}

Savage brought it in,, Tatalovich completed, and two players called, including Harig. Savage folded.

On fourth street, Tatalovich bet out, and both players called. Harig made a better board on fifth and led out. Both players called.

All three players knuckled on sixth, and it checked around on seventh as well. Harig turned over the {j-Spades}, then mucked his hand when the other two players fanned their hands.

Tatalovich: {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} (Eights and sevens)
Unknown Player: {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs} (Seven-five low)

The two players chopped the pot.

Opponent: {X-}{X-}/{8-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{Q-Spades}

A Crazy Three-Way All In

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Gaurav Kalro: {x-}{x-} / {3-Spades}{k-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} / {x-}
Joe Tehan: {x-}{x-} / {7-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{6-Hearts} / {x-}
Richard Ashby: {x-}{x-} / {2-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} / {x-}

Ashby brought it in, Kalro called, Tehan completed, Ashby re-raised, Kalro called, Tehan made it three bets, Ashby capped it, and both Kalro and Tehan called.

Got all of that?

On fourth, the action checked to Ashby, who bet, and both players called. The action checked to Ashby again on fifth, he bet, Kalro called, and Tehan raised. Both Ashby and Kalro called.

The action got even crazier on sixth, where Kalro bet out, Tehan called, Ashby raised all in (he had exactly two bets), Kalro called, and Tehan made it three bets. Kalro called, leaving less than a bet behind.

Kalro check-called all in on seventh, and all of the hands were tabled.

Kalro: {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Tehan: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Ashby: {8-}{2-Clubs}{2-Hearts}

We believe Ashby's seventh card was an eight, as he mucked his hand very quickly. We are positive that he was rolled up though, because he told the table this before exiting the tournament area.

Kalro's eight-low was good enough for half of the pot, while Tehan took the other half with jacks full of tens.

Phil Ivey: {x-}{x-} / {2-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} / {x-}
Michael Kovar: {x-}{x-} / {5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{4-Diamonds} / {x-}

We caught the action on fourth street, where Kovar check-called a bet from Ivey. Kovar led out on fifth, Ivey called, and Ivey called all-in for 1,400 on sixth.

Ivey: {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Kovar: {a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}

Kovar had the wheel, and could make a diamond flush on seventh, but bricked when he flipped over the {5-Hearts}. Ivey could split the pot with a club, but was eliminated when he turned over the {3-Hearts}.

Kovar now has 68,000 chips.
