Tom Schneider Eliminated by David Wortham

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 100 ante

Tom Schneider won't be winning his third bracelet of the 2013 World Series of Poker in Event #39.

Schneider was all in on third street in a four-handed pot.

David Wortham: {X-}{X-}/{A-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}
Tom Schneider: {X-}{X-}/{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{8-Spades}
Richard Ashby: {X-}{X-}/{A-Hearts}{10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{J-Hearts}
Joe Tehan: {X-}{X-}/{K-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} - folded on sixth street

Wortham forced Ashby out on seventh street and tabled {5-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{6-Clubs} for an 8-6 low and a pair of sixes. Schenider showed {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for a straight-flush draw on his first four streets, but bricked from there on out.

Wortham upped his stack to about 24,000.

Tehan Eliminates Kravchenko and Dents Schneider

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 100 ante

Tom Schneider: {X-}{X-}/{8-Spades}{5-Spades}{J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Alex Kravchenko: {X-}{X-}/{9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Joe Tehan: {X-}{X-}/{2-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{3-Clubs}

We arrived at the table on sixth street where Kravchenko was already all in. Schneider was in the tank and eventually check-called a bet from Tehan. It was the same story on seventh street and Tehan tabled {2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for deuces full of sevens. Neither Schneider nor Kravchenko could beat it and Tehan collected the pot.

Two Pair is Good for Savage

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 100 ante

Ying Chu: {x-}{x-} / {10-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Spades}{6-Spades} / {x-}
Matt Savage: {x-}{x-} / {5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} / {x-}

A player brought it in with the {3-Hearts}, Savage completed, and the action folded to Chu, who called. The player who brought it in folded. Chu check-called a bet on fourth street, and Savage made a better board on fifth. He led out, Chu called, and both players checked on sixth and seventh.

"Two pair," the legendary tournament director announced, tabling {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}.

"Two pair is good," Chu said, mucking his cards.
