Ausmus Makes Right Call to Chop

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

We walked up to the table to see Jeremy Ausmus and Tuan Le in the middle of a heads up pot. The board was on the turn, reading {4-Spades}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{6-Spades}, and Ausmus fired 5,500 into the middle of a pot that had about 11,000. Le made the call, and the river was the {8-Hearts}, putting a straight on board. Ausmus checked, and Le took it as an invitation to fired out 9,000. Ausmus thought for about 30 seconds before calling, and Le turned over {10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}, playing the board. Ausmus showed {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}, and the two players chopped up the pot.

After that hand, Ausmus is at 82,000, while Le is sitting on 39,000.
