Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante
Thiago Nishijima has a dominant lead.
Thiago Nishijima has a dominant lead.

Thiago Nishijima opened for a raise in early position, and a fellow big stack to his left reraised him. Nishijima made the call, and the two saw a {q-Hearts}{k-Spades}{7-Hearts} flop heads up.

Nishijima checked, and his opponent came out with 13,200. Nishijima raised to 30,000, and his opponent came back over the top with 50,000. Nishijima pushed all in and was called immediately.

Nishijima: {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Opponent: {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}

Nishijima held a gutshot straight draw and a flush draw, while his opponent had flopped a set of queens. The turn was the {j-Spades}, completing Nishijima's straight, but he still had to fade a pair on the board. The river came a {6-Clubs}, and Nishijima pumped his fist in celebration. He's now the overwhelming chipleader.
