An early position player opened to 1,400 and Bernard Lee called from the hijack. Action trickled around to Erick Lindgren who tagged along from the big blind.
Lindgren ditched two cards and picked up two new ones, the original raiser took one, and Lee stood pat. All three players checked the final round of betting and Lee fanned for the win. By picking up this pot, he's now sitting on a stack of 52,000.
Action began with John Monnette making an early position raise to 1,075. Dee Tiller called from the cutoff and it folded to Max Pescatori who three-bet to 3,500 from the small blind. Monnette called the raise and Tiller decided to tag along as well.

Pescatori came out swinging by firing two pink t5,000 chips into the middle. Monnette thought for a moment but ultimately decided to release his cards. Action was then on Tiller who responded by throwing out three pink t5,000 chips for 15,000. Pescatori immediately flung out one more chip.
The floor was called and the bet was determined to be a min-raise by Tiller. Tiller showed but was beat by Pescatori's better eight-low with . Tiller looked frustrated by losing an additional 10,000 in chips due to the min-raise, but Pescatori was left smiling as he now has about 43,500 in chips.
Johnny Chan raised to 1,200 from under the gun and Matt Ashton called from the hijack. The player in the big blind called as well.
The player in the big blind drew one, Chan stood pat, and Ashton drew one. Action checked to Ashton and he bet 3,600. The player in the big blind folded and Chan mulled it over for about 45 seconds.
With registration closed, the prize pool information has officially been announced. This year the event attracted 87 total runners (14 players down from last year) which garnered a total prize pool of $817,800. This event will pay the top 14 spots with a min-cash earning $16,601. Action folded to Max Pescatori who made it 1,600 to go from the button. Mike Matusow three-bet the action to 4,200 from the small blind and the big blind folded. Pescatori took a moment before deciding to flat call.
Matusow stood pat at the draw and Pescatori took one. Matusow checked and Pescatori reached for chips. He dropped 4,000 in the middle and Matusow took about 30 seconds before finally deciding to release his cards. Pescatori flashed as he dragged in the pot. He's now sitting on about 24,500 to Matusow's 34,000.
