The Final Table Begins

Level 25 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

The players have relocated to the ESPN main stage, the introductions have been made and the cards are in the air. Keep it here for hand-for-hand coverage until a champion is crowned.

Jacob Schindler Eliminated in 10th Place ($33,421)

Action folded to Mark Teltscher in early position, and he moved all in for his final 421,000. It folded around to Jacob Schindler in the big blind, and he went into the tank. Schindler was the only player who didn't have Teltscher covered, so he was no longer at risk. After almost three minutes of thinking, Schindler dropped a stack in the middle, signifying a call.

Teltscher: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Schindler: {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}

Schindler was in rough shape going to the flop, and that never changed, as the board ran down {8-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{9-Spades}. The stacks were counted up, and Teltscher had Schindler covered by about 50,000, eliminating him just short of the official final table.

With that, we are off to the mothership!

Rocco Plays His Stack

Level 25 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Michael Rocco opened from middle position to 55,000 and Sandeep Pulusani called from late position. Phillipe Vert made it 154,000 to go from the big blind and both Rocco and Pulusani made the call.

All three players checked the {k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{9-Clubs} flop. Vert led for 225,000 on the {6-Clubs} turn and Rocco immediately moved all in. Pulusani folded and Vert couldn't muck his cards fast enough. Rocco showed the table {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}.

Teltscher Shoves on Rocco

Level 25 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Action folded to Michael Rocco on the button, and he raised to 55,000. Mark Teltscher was in the big blind, and he grabbed the rest of his stack, and dropped it in the middle. A quick frown came over Rocco's face when he saw the bet, and as the dealer was counting out the stack, he folded.

Rocco Gets Played

Level 25 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

The players have seen a few flops since coming back from break but there has yet to be a showdown. Michael Rocco has been in control of his table since amassing his huge stack but it was Pedro Rios that came out on top at the end of this hand.

Rocco opened the action to 55,000 from under the gun and Pedro Rios called from the cutoff. Rocco checked the {10-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop and Rios bet 65,000. Rocco called and put a 37,000 turn bet out in the dark before the {9-Diamonds} was dealt. Rios raised to 112,000 and Rocco folded showing {j-}. Rios then showed {4-Hearts}{4-} to the delight of the table.
