Welcome back to the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino and the 2013 World Series of Poker for Day 2 of the Event #46: $3,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-low 8-or-Better!
Yesterday saw 435 players spread throughout the floor of the Amazon Room, and when the dust settled, only 139 players remained all eyeing the money-paying top 45 before making a run at the bracelet and $279,094 first prize.
Matt Woodward bagged an impressive 98,700 in chips and is one of two players in the 90,000-chip range with Cai Zhen (95,300) being the other.
Ari Engel also sits in the top ten while the likes of Gavin Smith (60,500), Ali Eslami (55,600), Amnon Filippi (47,000), Leif Force (43,300), John Cernuto (42,600), Andrey Zaichenko (31,500), Eric Baldwin (28,900), Chip Jett (28,700), Joe Hachem (25,600), Mike Matusow (22,000), Jeff Madsen (17,200) and a host of other notables still remain.

Early Double Gets Zaichenko Rolling

It's unclear where all the money went in but when we came to the table, Andrey Zaichenko was holding 
on a board of 
, giving him the nut straight with no low. Matt Woodward on the other end of the table was holding 
for a losing two pair. There was a low possible on the board but since neither player held a low, Zaichenko scooped the pot.
"That's a good start for me," Zaichenko said as he began stacking his chips.

Matusow Takes The Unlikely Scoop

Action folded to a player on the button who opened the pot to 1,600. Mike Matusow called from the small blind and Steven Chidwick called from the big.
The flop came down 
and all three players checked to see the on the turn. On the turn Matusow led out for 4,000 and was called by both players.
The river was the and Matusow moved all in for a little over 10,000 chips. Chidwick instantly released his hand. The player on the button make the call though.
"I have a pair and the nut low," Matusow said opening his 
"Wow," the player on the button said, attempting to muck his hand, but the dealer informed him that he would have to show. He was holding 
for a slightly worse pair, and a slightly worse low.
With that Matusow was able to scoop the pot and double up early here on Day 2.
"How'd you feel when he called?" Huck Seed asked Matusow from across the table.
"I felt like I was at least getting half the pot," Matusow said.
