Jared Jaffee is among those who have seen their Event #50 runs end prematurely here on Day 2. As Level 11 begins, the big board is showing 99 players still alive.

Limit Hold'em
Action folded around to Dan O'Brien in the small blind who raised up the action. Gavin Smith called out of the big blind and the flop came . O'Brien fired out and Smith called to see the board pair with the on the turn. O'Brien led out and once again Smith stuck around.
The dropped down on fifth street and Smith called one final bet from O'Brien. O'Brien showed for three jacks and Smith shrugged and flung his face up onto the felt. O'Brien dragged in the pot and now sits on about 54,000 while Smith is sitting low on just about 6,000.

Picking up with the action on fourth street, we saw Tom McCormick fire out a bet. Scott Clements called to see fifth and both players checked. McCormick led out once again on sixth street and Clements called to see the final card.
Both players checked on seventh street and McCormick tabled for a ninety-seven low. Clements showed a better hand, however, with . Clements' eighty-seven was enough to take down the pot and boost his stack to around 22,000.

2-7 Triple Draw
We picked up with the action just after the first draw to find Greg Raymer lead out with a bet. Jameson Painter raised and Raymer flat called. Raymer drew one card on the second draw while Painter stood pat. Raymer checked after the second draw and Painter continued out.
Raymer surprised Painter with a raise here and Painter flat called. Both stood pat on the third draw and Raymer bet out one more time. Painter called but mucked his hand when Raymer fanned for an eighty-six. The 2004 WSOP Main Event champion dragged in the pot and now has about 47,000 in chips.
