Danzer Doubles Through the Grinder

Level 6

Pot-Limit Omaha

We arrived at the table to find Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi and George Danzer looking down at a board of {4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{8-Spades}. The action prior to the point is still unknown, but we witnessed Mizrachi moving out towers of chips on the turn for what looked to be a pot-sized bet. Danzer was in the tank for quite some time before finally raising not much more over the top to officially get his stack all in.

Danzer: {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}
Mizrachi: {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}

Danzer was ahead with his aces and stayed that way as the {3-Diamonds} bricked out on the river for Mizrachi. Mizrachi was forced to ship 118,700 over to Danzer for a double up and the reigning champion is now knocked down to around 115,000.
