Rheem Cracks Kings

Level 8 : 250/500, 50 ante

There was a raise to 1,000 from under the gun and once Matt Giannetti had folded, the next player to act three-bet to 3,200. The action then passed around to Chino Rheem on the button, who asked "What did you make it?" The dealer confirmed the bet amount was and Rheem called. The initial raiser also called and it was three-handed to the {8-Spades}{5-Hearts}{j-Spades} flop.

The first player checked, then there was a bet of 4,700 and an all-in from Rheem! The first player folded but Rheem's all in was called.

Rheem: {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Opponent: {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}

Rheem had run into kings, but still had outs to a straight. One of those outs was the {7-Clubs} on the turn, which locked up the hand for Rheem. The {5-Diamonds} completed the board and the now busted players said loudly, "Unfu**ingbelieveable!" before toppling his stacks over and leaving the tournament area.

Cloutier Rivers Gross

Level 8 : 250/500, 50 ante

Eric Cloutier moved all in for 6,625 and Jeff Gross three-bet all in for roughly an additional 2,400.

Cloutier: {A-Clubs}{5-Hearts}
Gross: {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}

Before the board was dealt, both players decided to do a 5% swap to the loser, and when the board ran out {2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{5-Spades}, Gross was left with just 2,400 but also 5% of Cloutier going forward in this tournament.

Laak Stacks with Two Pair

Level 8 : 250/500, 50 ante

Following a raise to 1,000, Phil Laak made the call from the small blind before the big blind three-bet to 3,200. The original raiser folded, but Laak made the call as the flop landed {5-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}.

Both players checked, and when the {Q-Diamonds} landed on the turn, Laak pushed forward all his 1,000-denomination chips amounting to roughly 40,000. The big blind paused for a few moments before making the call for his remaining 10,000 or so.

Laak: {10-Spades}{8-Spades}
Opponent: {K-Clubs}{Q-Spades}

The river landed the {2-Clubs} and Laak sent his opponent to the rail while moving his stack upwards of 65,000 in chips.

Boeree Bosses Stars

Level 8 : 250/500, 50 ante

Taylor Paur opened the pot with a raise to 1,100 from UTG+1. David "Bakes" Baker called in the small blind, putting the action onto Liv Boeree in the big blind. Boeree raised to 4,000 which folded out Paur.

"Too much," said Baker as he mucked his hand, leaving Boeree to add some extra chips to her stack.

Ktorza Shoves on Giannetti

Level 7 : 200/400, 50 ante

We joined the action on a {3-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop, a flop that Matt Giannetti checked from the big blind and Philippe Ktorza fired a 1,075 bet from late position on.

Giannetti paused for 30 seconds before check-raising to 2,500. Ktorza, who finished second to Marvin Rettenmaier in the 2012 WPT World Championship, then moved all in for 22,000 in total. Giannetti sat bolt upright before mucking his hand.
