Baumann Slips

Level 6 : 150/300, 25 ante

Gaelle Baumann called an opponent's all in and was in bad shape holding {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} against her opponent's {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {Q-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{5-Spades}{k-Clubs}{K-Spades} and Baumann was left with just 3,200 in chips.

Level 6 : 150/300, 25 ante

Erik Seidel moved all in for 3,375 and was called by the small blind.

Seidel: {A-Hearts}{J-Spades}
Opponent: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}

The board ran out {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds} to see Seidel spike the double to over 7,000 as tablemate Chino Rheem stated, "Ship it to E!"

Laak Doubles

Level 6 : 150/300, 25 ante
Phil Laak
Phil Laak

When we arrived the dealer was busy counting Phil Laak's chips. After several counts and recounts, it was decided Bart Hanson owed Laak 35,275. On the table was {Q-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{9-Clubs} | {4-Hearts} | {6-Clubs} and Laak still had {J-Clubs}{5-Clubs} in front of him. With that flush he had beaten Hanson's top set of aces it appeared.

Laak was talking rapidly like we're used of him, but we did pick up that he found his won play in the hand not optimal. Well, that not so optimal play got rewarded, as he now plays a little shy of 75,000.

Brenes Busts

Level 6 : 150/300, 25 ante
Humberto Brenes
Humberto Brenes

Facing a raise to 725 and a call, Humberto Brenes three-bet the button to 2,125. Both players called, and on the {J-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} flop, Brenes moved all in for 4,950 after it was checked to him. Only the initial raiser came along as the third player dropped out.

Brenes: {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}
Opponent: {5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}

With Brenes trailing, the {10-Diamonds} on the turn would render him dead as the {8-Hearts} completed the board on the river sending Brenes to the rail.
