Matthew Krier Eliminated in 15th Place ($33,387)

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Matthew Krier - 15th Place
Matthew Krier - 15th Place

Matthew Krier opened to 100,000 in the cutoff and Alexander Case three-bet to about 250,000 from the button. Action folded back to Krier who four-bet shoved for just about 1 million. Case called immediately.

Krier: {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}
Case: {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}

The {10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop kept Krier ahead, as did the {2-Diamonds} turn. However, the {K-Diamonds} landed on the river to give Case a winning pair of kings to eliminate Krier in 15th place.

Case, meanwhile, has taken over the chip lead.

Dimaria Flops Gin

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Gaetano Dimaria moved all in for 355,000 from middle position. Brian Yoon isolated all in from the button, and the blinds folded.

Yoon: {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Dimaria: {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}

Yoon was slightly ahead, but that changed in a hurry on the flop: {9-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}, giving Dimaria a straight. A {5-Diamonds} and {6-Clubs} finished out the board, and Dimaria doubled up.

Eugene Fouksman Doubles Through Chad Mcclintock

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Action folded to Eugene Fouksman in the small blind and he shoved for 385,000. Chad Mcclintock called from the big blind and turned over {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}. Fouksman was behind with {J-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and the {A-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs} was disastrous for him. The {Q-Clubs} turn have him a few outs to Broadway and sure enough, the {K-Spades} river fell to keep Fouksman alive.

Yoon Rising

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Brian Yoon raised to 80,000 under the gun and was called by Justin Zaki in the cutoff and Gordon Huntly in the big blind.

The flop fell {J-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{8-Spades} and action checked to Zaki who bet 115,000. Both Huntly and Yoon called to see the {4-Hearts} turn which was checked around. The {8-Clubs} river landed and Huntly checked to Yoon who bet 215,000. After Zaki folded, Huntly called.

Yoon tabled {K-Hearts}{J-Clubs} for jacks and eights, Huntly mucked, and Yoon took down the pot.

Chiab Saechao Doubles Through Gaetano Dimaria

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Chiab Saechao shoved for 435,000 from the hijack and Gaetano Dimaria announced "call" and threw in one green T25K to go along with with his small blind. After Kevin O'Donnell folded his big big blind, Saechao tabled {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}. A surprised Dimaria didn't realize Saechao had shoved, but since he verbally declared call to go along with his tossing in the chip, the call stood and Dimaria showed {10-Diamonds}{3-Spades}.

"Would be a brutal way to go," said almost everyone at the table. The board ran out {Q-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{7-Hearts}{A-Hearts}, safe for Saechao to score the double up.

Case Running Fast

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Alex Case shipped all in after Eugene Fouksman had three-bet his opening raise out of the blinds. Fouksman made the call.

Fouksman: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Case: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

The flop came {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{4-Clubs}, leaving Fouksman in bad shape. The turn was a {9-Clubs}, so he picked up some outs to a straight. A {3-Spades} on the river was a brick, and Caseman won his second straight preflop all in against the unfortunate Fouksman.

Justin Zaki Doubles Through Chiab Saechao

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Chiab Saechao opened to 85,000 from the cutoff and Justin Zaki three-bet shoved for 565,000 from the small blind. After a short while in the tank, Saechao called.

Saechao: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}
Zaki: {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}

The {7-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop was no help to Zaki, nor was the {5-Clubs} turn. However, the {J-Spades} landed on the river to give Zaki jacks full of fives to score the double up to 1.205 million. He has since increased his stack even further.
