Seven-time WSOP bracelet winner Billy Baxter had a rough start today to slip under 2,000, but just now earned a few back in a three-way hand involving Justin Bonomo.
After Bonomo had opened from early position, Baxter three-bet, his neighbor the left called the reraise, and Bonomo called as well. Baxter then stood pat through all three draws while Bonomo and the third player drew two cards twice and then just one.
Both of Baxter's opponents called his bets after the first two draws, but only Bonomo with a bit of reluctance called the final bet. Baxter quickly tabled a number four — — and Bonomo mucked.

"Well, that hand was a trainwreck."
So said Brandon Wong with a grin just now after losing a decent-sized pot to an opponent who on the end had tabled an -low to scoop the chips. Wong is off to a slow start today, but his train ran well all of the way to the end of Event #50: $2,500 10-Game Mix (Six-Handed) a few nights ago when he won his first WSOP bracelet.

Following an early position raise, Mark Gregorich three-bet from the button and the raiser called. Both drew two cards on the first draw and checked, then both drew two again and Gregorich called a bet from his opponent.
On the third draw Gregorich's opponent took one card and he stood pat, then both checked once more. Gregorich tabled, , and his opponent showed he'd drawn an ace on the end as he had and Gregorich won the pot.

Last time we saw Greg Raymer, he was sitting slightly below his starting stack. Well he lost a series of hands that led to his early bustout, and while we didn't catch the hands, he tweeted some details on what led to his early demise.
One of the first out, wsop event 59 2-7 triple draw. Lost 4x w/ #5, 2x w/ #6, and 2x with 7s. #sighFollow @FossilMan

A number of players are finding themselves down to super short stacks after three-and-a-half levels of play, with Kevin Vandersmissen being one of them.
Just now we saw Vandersmissen having reached the third draw in a hand in which his opponent took one and he stood pat, then when checked to Vandersmissen bet his last 350. His opponent chuckled as he explained he had to fold, showing four of his cards — — as he did.

We got to the table just as the first draw was being made in a heads up pot that involved Scott Clements. There was about 1,500 in the middle, and both Clements and his opponent drew one card. Clements check called a bet, and both drew one again on the second draw. This time, they both checked, and Clements stood pat. As soon as his opponent discarded one card, Clements fired out. His opponent thought for a but before folding, and Clements dragged the pot to us his stack to 14,000.
