Hands 111-113

Jonathan_Zaun • Level 33: 100,000-200,000, 30,000 ante

Hand #111: Chen limped his button, Liberto checked his option, and the flop of {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{8-Clubs} saw him lead out for 225,000. Chen called, the turn came {10-Diamonds}, and a second barrel of 460,000 gave Liberto the pot.

Hand #112: Chen's open of 400,000 was enough to force folds around the table.

Hand #113: Liberto raised to 420,000 from the button, and Bennington and Chen flatted from the blinds. The flop of {5-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} was checked down, and the {7-Hearts} arrived on the turn. This time Bennington led out for 400,000, Chen called, and Liberto raised it up to 1.1 million. Michael responded with an all-in reshove, which was good enough to scare Liberto away.

Hand #114: Chen limped from the small blind after it folded to him, and Gray checked his option. They checked down a board of {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{9-Diamonds}, but on the river {3-Diamonds} Grey followed Chen's check with a bet of 200,000. Chen looked him up with {9-}{5-} for fourth pair, and the hand proved to be good.

Hands 102-110: The Grind

Jonathan_Zaun • Level 33: 100,000-200,000, 30,000 ante

Hand #102: Liberto raised and took it down with an under the gun bet of 420,000.

Hand #103: Chen limped in from the button and Liberto checked his option in the big blind. Both players checked the flop of {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}, and the {6-Clubs} on the turn prompted Liberto to check-call a bet of 200,000. They checked the river {6-Diamonds} and Chen rolled over {J-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for the winning pair.

Hand #104-106: Raise and takes for Chen, Gray and Bennington in that order.

Hand #107: Liberto received a walk in the big blind, which has been a rarity at this aggressive final table.

Hand #108: Gray opened for 400,000, leaving Liberto and Bennington to flat from the blinds. A flop of {K-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} induced no action, and the three players checked it down. On the {4-Spades} turn, Liberto led out for 600,000 and forced his opponents to fold.

Hand #109: Gray moved all-in from the small blind, taking down the blinds and antes with his 3 million chip move.

Hand #110: Chen raised to 475,000 from under the gun and scooped the dead money.

Hands 99-101: Bennington Building

Jonathan_Zaun • Level 33: 100,000-200,000, 30,000 ante

Hand #99: Chen raised his button to 400,000 and was called in two spots, by Gray in small blind and Liberto in the big. A flop of {A-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{2-Spades} prompted Gray and Liberto to check, but Chen continued with a bet of 450,000. Gray flatted and Liberto folded, bringing the {7-Hearts} on turn. Both players checked, and did so again on the {9-Spades} river. Opening {A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for top pair, Gray took the pot down.

Hand #100: Chen raised again, this time opening to 400,000 from under the gun. In the small blind, Liberto three-bet to 945,000, a move which was met by a four-bet to 1.7 million. Liberto flat-called this large bet and we saw a flop of {q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{7-Clubs} appear. Despite the aggressive preflop action, however, both players checked the flop and the {10-Spades} came on the turn. Two more checks later, the {K-Diamonds} completed the board, and Liberto led out for a bet of 1.5 million. Chen couldn't stand the heat, so he got out of the kitchen with a quick fold.

Hand #101: Gray opened for 550,000 from under the gun, and Bennington flatted in the small blind to see a flop of {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{6-Hearts} arrive. Both players checked the textured board, and the {K-Diamonds} came on the turn, prompting another check by Bennington. Gray fired away with a 700,000 wager, but he could not lose his stubborn opponent. After the river delivered the {8-Clubs}, Bennington moved all-in for 1.85 million, causing Gray to tank for a minute or two before ultimately making the call. Bennington rolled over the {A-Hearts}{k-Spades} for trip kings, top kicker, and big slick proved to be enough.

Hands 96-98: Gray Spikes River to Double Through Liberto

Jonathan_Zaun • Level 33: 100,000-200,000, 30,000 ante

Hand #96: From the cutoff, Chen popped it to 400,000, and Liberto and Bennington called out of the blinds. The flop of {4-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{5-Spades} caused Liberto and Bennington to check, and Chen took the lead in the hand with a bet of 550,000, which was enought to force the folds.

Hand #97: Liberto raised his button to 420,000 and Chen defended his big blind to bring a flop of {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{A-Clubs} on board. Both players checked and we saw the {A-Diamonds} arrive on the turn. Chen led out for 400,000 and Liberto flatted, which brought us to the {A-Hearts} on the river. After Chen tapped the table, Liberto slid forward towers of chips totaling 2 million, and despite mulling his options for a minute or so, Chen released his hands.

Hand #98: Liberto opened for the standard 420,000 in the cutoff, and Gray responded with a three-bet shove from the big blind, putting his last 2.64 million at risk. Liberto looked him up with {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}, and his premium pocket pair had Gray's {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} in bad shape, The inferior hand improved on the {2-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{10-Hearts} flop, but the turn of {6-Spades} brought no further help. It would be an {A-Hearts} on the river that did the job, giving Gray two pair and a come from behind double up.

Hands 89-95

Jonathan_Zaun • Level 33: 100,000-200,000, 30,000 ante

Hand #89: Liberto opened for 420,000 with the button in front of him, and Chen called from the big blind to bring on a flop of {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{4-Spades}. Chen then check-folded to a bet of 500,000.

Hand #90: Chen limped in from the small blind and Gray checked his option. The final board rolled out {7-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{2-Spades}{q-Spades}{5-Clubs} and both players checked it down the whole way, leaving Chen to claim the chips with {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}.

Hand #91: Looking to stay aggressive, Chen continued to play pots, raising his button to 400,000. Liberto defended his big blind by flatting, and the flop fell {A-Spades}{7-Hearts}{2-Spades}. Liberto then check-folded to Chen's 300,000 c-bet.

Hand #92: Gray moved all-in for roughly 1.6 million holding the button, and the bet forced folds around the table.

Hand #93: With the button in front of him, Liberto made it 420,000 to go and both Bennington and Chen called from the blinds. First to act on the {4-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} flop, Bennington checked, as did Chen. Liberto seized the moment with a bet of 445,000, and his opponent's mucked their hands.

Hand #94: Bennington bumped it to 400,000 on the button, but folded after a three-bet ship of 1.9 million from Gray.

Hand #95: In position on the button, Chen opened for 400,000 and Liberto called to defend his big blind. A flop {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs} was spread, prompting both players to check. The {8-Clubs} arrived on the turn, and this time Liberto led for 450,000, taking the pot.
