Hand #175: Jay Farber

Level 39 : 500,000/1,000,000, 150,000 ante

Jay Farber had the button, and he raised to two million. Ryan Riess called, the dealer fanned {9-Spades}{q-Spades}{2-Hearts}, and Riess checked. Farber checked behind.

The turn was the {3-Clubs}, the two checked again, and the {8-Hearts} completed the board. The pair checked again, and Farber won with {k-Diamonds}{5-Spades} for king-high.

Hand #174: Riess Takes a Chunk

Level 39 : 500,000/1,000,000, 150,000 ante

Ryan Riess had the button.

Riess opened with a raise to 2.6 million, and Jay Farber reraised to 4.5 million. Riess made the call, and the first flop of heads-up play was {K-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}. Farber was first to act and led with a bet of 3.4 million. Riess took a few moments, then raised to an even 9 million. Farber gave it up, and Riess scooped the pot.
