Jaffe Wins Huge Pot, Pushing Four Million

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante
Jonathan Jaffe
Jonathan Jaffe

Jonathan Jaffe made it 52,000 to go from under the gun +1, and Michiel Brummelhuis called two spots over. Eli Heath also tagged along from the big blind, and the three saw a flop of {k-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. Heath checked to Jaffe, who fired out 89,000. Brummelhuis called, Heath folded, and the turn brought the {3-Clubs}. Jaffe continued to fire, this time for 200,000, and Brummelhuis once again called fairly quickly.

The river was the {9-Diamonds}, and Jaffe thought it over before putting out a huge bet of 830,000. Brummelhuis called him down, and Jaffe showed {Q-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for the flopped second nut flush. Brummelhuis showed {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}, and Jaffe collected a massive pot to get up to 3.8 million, while Brummelhuis tumbled down to 1.166 million.
