Reed Concedes

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Matthew Reed opened for 35,000 from the cutoff seat, and it folded around to Christopher Anderson in the big blind who reraised all in. The shove was big — for more than 750,000 — and after tanking for a while Reed let his hand go.

Anderson held up his cards for Reed to see from across the table — {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} — and Reed responded by saying he'd folded {A-}{K-}.

"If he three-bets I shove," explained Reed to his side of the table afterwards, and Anderson joked that he didn't want him calling with three possible outs. "Wait 'til I have aces and you have ace-king… then I'll three-bet and you can shove," Anderson said with a grin.

Jaffe Flops a Boat

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Jonathan Jaffe raised to 32,000 from under the gun +1, and Samuel Clements was the lone caller from the cutoff. The flop ran down {10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}, and Jaffe c-bet to 28,000. Clements tossed out a raise to 60,000, and Jaffe made the call. Both players checked the {a-Spades} turn, and the river was the {5-Clubs}. Jaffe thought his options over for about a minute before he bet out 220,000. Clements tanked for almost two minutes before calling, and Jaffe showed {10-Spades}{2-Spades} for a flopped full house.

Clements hinted that he may have had the case deuce in his hand as he mucked it, dropping him to 131,000, while Jaffe is now up to 819,000.

Nice Pot for Myers without Showdown

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

The turn was the {4-Hearts} to pair the board. Rustom checked again, and Myers bet 275,000. Rustom wanted to know how much Myers had behind, which was roughly 825,000. Rustom tanked for a bit, then folded. Myers slammed over the {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts} and exclaimed that he had the nuts. Rustom said he had {J-}{10-}.

Castelluccio Eliminates Ha

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Sergio Castelluccio opened for a raise from the hijack, and Vimy Ha three-bet to about 90,000 from the cutoff. Everyone else folded and Castelluccio moved all in.

"Will you show?" Ha asked after tanking for a couple of minutes.

"Just one," Castelluccio responded.

After another minute or so, Ha slid both of his stacks of chips in, and the players showed theirs hands.

Castelluccio: {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Ha: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

"Come on," Ha exhorted.

The dealer placed out the flop: {8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}, no help to Ha. The turn was the {k-Hearts}, leaving Ha still drawing to an ace or a queen. It was Castelluccio who improved on the end though, as the {j-Clubs} hit the board, eliminating Ha.
