Hui Flushes Frankie

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante
Phillip Hui
Phillip Hui

Josh Arieh raised to 3,000 and Phillip Hui three-bet to 4,500. With the action on Frankie O'Dell on the button, he made it four bets and both Arieh and Hui called.

The dealer spread a {9-Spades}{5-Clubs}{Q-Spades} flop and Hui fired out 1,500 with both O'Dell and Arieh calling. The {2-Spades} then landed on the turn. Hui tossed in another 3,000. This time, only O'Dell made the call as the river landed the {J-Spades} and Hui fired in another 3,000.

O'Dell made the call, but then mucked when Hui tabled his {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades} for the third-nut flush.

Leah Chips Up

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

Steve Lustig raised in the hijack seat, Mike Leah made it three bets on his direct left and the action folded back to Lustig, who called.

The flop fell {3-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, Lustig check-called a bet and then check-raised Leah after the 9s turn. Leah called.

The river was the {k-Clubs}, Lustig fired out a bet and Leah tank-called. Lustig showed {7-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for bricked flush and straight draws and Leah showed the winner: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{j-Spades}{7-Hearts}.

Wheelin' 'Em In

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

After a few preflop raises, Bruce Yamron was all in and at risk for 5,700 against James Manning.

Yamron: {a-Clubs}{2-Spades}{3-Clubs}{5-Hearts}
Manning: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{8-Spades}

The flop, turn and river came {k-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, giving Yamron the entire pot with a wheel, and he doubled through.

Laak's Wet Money

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante
Phil Laak
Phil Laak

"Fifteen hundred in the dark! Wet money. Chicken Dinner," announced Phil Laak as he tossed in 1,500.

Laak however was in the big blind, so his 1,500 was just the big blind and not a dark bet as he may have made it sound like.

The action folded round to Tom Schneider who raised to 3,000 and once play returned to Laak, he tossed his cards to the muck.

Pender Busts on River

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

Joshua Pender opened to 3,000 only to be faced with a three-bet which he called to be all in in a three-handed pot against Kyung Han and Alexandre Luneau. The flop landed {3-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{J-Spades} and the two active players checked through to see the {6-Hearts} on the turn with Luneau betting 3,000 and Han calling.

The river brought the {4-Hearts} and Han bet out 3,000 with Luneau calling.

Han tabled his {A-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{2-Spades} for the nut low and a straight as Luneau tabled his {A-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} to chop the nut low.

Unfortunately for Pender, his {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}{J-Hearts}{3-Clubs} had been leading until the river, but after losing the hand, he was forced to hit the rail.

Greenstein Gets Quartered

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

Barry Greenstein opened to 3,000 from under the gun and Brock Parker raised to 4,500 with Jason Mcpherson calling from the big blind along with Greenstein to see the dealer spread a {6-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{7-Clubs} flop.

The action checked to Parker who bet out 1,500 with Mcpherson calling and Greenstein calling all in for 1,000.

The turn brought the {2-Spades}, Parker bet 3,000, and Mcpherson called. The {4-Diamonds} completed the board and another bet and call followed.

Parker tabled his {A-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} for a full house and the best high hand while as Mcpherson's {A-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{3-Hearts} would chop with Greenstein's {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades} for the low.
