Arieh Hits a One-Outer to Scoop

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Josh Arieh put out a bet on a completed board of {k-Spades}{10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{q-Spades}, and Eli Elezra quickly made the call. Arieh showed {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-Clubs} for a set of queens, and Elezra laughed.

The 2013 bracelet winner showed the case queen ({q-Clubs}), then revealed the rest of his hand; {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{2-Spades}.

"F***in' Josh Arieh," Elezra yelled with a big grin on his face. "Hits a one-outer! I would've had three-hundred thousand!"

Elezra is still very healthy with 276,000 chips, while Arieh chipped up to 77,000.

Duhamel Quartered by Bojang

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Jonathan Duhamel opened to 4,000 and Ismael Bojang called along with the big blind. Duhamel continued for 2,000 on the {9-Clubs}{8-Spades}{9-Spades} flop with Bojang raising to 4,000 and the big blind folding. Duhamel called.

Both players checked the {5-Diamonds} turn. The river was the {2-Hearts}, Duhamel bet out, and Bojang called. Bojang tabled his {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades} to take three-quarters of the pot from Duhamel's {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts}.

Wheel for Wattel

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Mike Wattel made it two bets from the cutoff, Ofir Mor called on the button and the dealer fanned {3-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{7-Spades}. Wattel fired out a bet, Mor called, and Mor called additional bets on the turn ({4-Diamonds}) and the river ({8-Hearts}).

Wattel ripped over {7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds} for the wheel and scooped the entire pot.

Brunson Triples

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante
Todd Brunson
Todd Brunson

Marco Johnson opened with a raise to 4,000 and John Monnette called before Todd Brunson moved all in for 5,400 with both Johnson and Monnette calling.

Johnson bet out 2,000 on the {8-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} flop and Monnette called. The {K-Spades} came on the turn, Johnson fired 4,000, and Monnette passed. Johnson then tabled his {8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades} to show he was drawing to the low against Brunson's {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{4-Spades}.

The river fell the {10-Hearts} and Brunson was pushed the pot to see him triple to 17,000 in chips.

Yamron Busts

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Bruce Yamron was all in and at risk preflop against Scott Clements and Tom Koral. Clements fired out a bet on every street as the board came {5-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}, and Koral stuck around to the end.

Clements rolled over {a-Spades}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for the nut low and a flush, Koral showed {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Spades} for the nut low — good for a quarter of the pot — and before exiting, Yamron was forced to show {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{7-Clubs}.

Clements is up to 75,000 chips.
