Hands #85-89: Volpe and Mercier Spar

Hand #85: Jason Mercier had the button and raised to 40,000. Daniel Negreanu three-bet to 125,000 from the small blind and Paul Volpe folded from the big blind. Mercier kicked it in as well and Negreanu took the pot.

Hand #86: Action folded to Volpe's small blind and he made it 45,000 to go. Mercier called from the big blind and both players took two cards. Volpe checked and Mercier bet 59,000. Volpe tossed forward a call and Mercier tabled a winning {9-}{8-}{7-}{6-}{4-}.

Hand #87: Volpe raised to 45,000 from his button and Mercier called from the small blind. Mercier took one new card and Volpe stood pat. Mercier checked his action post-draw and Volpe bet 87,000. Mercier folded and Volpe was pushed the pot.

Hand #88: Mercier raised to 40,000 from his button and Negreanu three-bet to 125,000 from the small blind. Action folded back to Mercier and he kicked his cards in.

Hand #89: Volpe made it 46,000 from the small blind and Mercier called from the big. Volpe stood pat and Mercier took one new card. Volpe checked and Mercier led for 68,000. Volpe folded and Mercier took the pot.
