Clements: {3-}{6-} / {4-}{7-}{9-}{3-} / {Q-}
Harmetz: {A-}{A-} / {5-}{4-}{J-}{J-} / {X-}

Butzhammer Near The Top Again

Level 13 : 6,000/12,000, 1,500 ante

Thomas Butzhammer was the chip leader at the start of the day and after losing his pole position for quite some time he's now back up among the biggest stacks.

Butzhammer: (X-X) / {A-}{Q-}{4-}{K-} / (X)
O'Brien: (X-X) / {5-}{Q-}{Q-}{3-} / (X)

On seventh street Butzhammer tanked for a little bit before putting out a bet, which is 12,000 in the current level, and O'Brien went into the tank for a long time.

O'Brien held his {4-}{3-}{2-} up in the air for a queen-five low, and eventually he decided to put in the call. Butzhammer showed {9-}{5-}{3-} for a nine-five low and he raked in this big pot.

A Crucial Pot For Bronshtein

Level 13 : 6,000/12,000, 1,500 ante
Yuval Bronshtein
Yuval Bronshtein

Yuval Bronshtein was among the shortest stacks in the room when we got down to three tables, but he just picked up a little steam by taking down a big pot from Jesse Martin.

On fourth street Martin bet, Bronshtein called and Hoyt Corkins folded. On fifth street it was Bronshtein who bet and Martin called. This action repeated itself on sixth and seventh street Martin mucked when Bronshtein turned over the winning combination.

Bronshtein: (X-X) / {8-}{2-}{7-}{6-} / (X)
Martin: (X-X) / {7-}{6-}{10-}{3-} / (X)
Corkins (X-X) / {6-}{Q-}fold

Bronhstein showed {6-}{5-}{4-} for a seven-six low and Martin mucked his cards.

Kihara Scoops Monster

Level 12 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Naoya Kihara completed and Brian Hastings raised. Scott Abrams and Kihara called as Abrams bet fourth with both players calling. Hastings took the lead back on fifth before Kihara took the lead on sixth.

Kihara: (X-X) / {8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{10-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} / (X)
Hastings: (X-X) / {5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades}{5-Diamonds} / (X)
Abrams: (X-X) / {A-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{J-Hearts}{J-Clubs} / (X)

On seventh, the action checked to Abrams who bet out with only Kihara calling. Abrams tabled his {7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for a jack-low, but it would be Kihara's {J-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades} for a ten-low that would see him pushed the pot.
