All of the following players have been eliminated from the tournament and have each earned $12,390.

Double Knockout for Merkow

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

In a massive three-way all in, Frank Fehsenfeld pushed from under the gun and Loni Harwood came over the top sitting on his left. They knew they were in trouble when Gregg Merkow pushed his big stack from middle position.

Fehsenfeld: {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Harwood: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Merkow: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}

Merkow didn't win the pot without a sweat, having to fade a ton of outs on the river. The board fell in his favor though: {2-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. Merkow is now sitting on a healthy pile of chips to carry him into the final three tables.

Kanit on a Heater

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Not too long ago, Mustapha Kanit was one of our short stacks, but he has been making big plays and his hands have been holding.

Kanit recently got it all in preflop against the {a-Clubs}{k-Spades} of Alexander Condon holding the {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}. The pair held and Kanit took the last 300,000 or so of Condon and vaulted toward the top of the leaderboard.

Divkovic Calls with a Kicker

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Jaime Kaplan raised to 16,000 from the hijack and [Removed:480] called with the button. The flop was dealt {8-Clubs}{2-Spades}{8-Hearts} and Kaplan continued for 28,000. Divkovic called and the turn {2-Clubs} got a check from Kaplan. Divkovic bet 18,000 and Kaplan called. The river was the {q-Diamonds} and Kaplan pushed in a stack of green chips, putting Divkovic all in if he decided to call. After plenty of thought, Divkovic made the call.

Divkovic: {a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Kaplan: {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}

Both players just contributed their ace to the two pairs on the board and split the pot in half.

More Eliminations

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

The following players were eliminated late in Level 18 and received $10,250 each.

Condon Scoops Two

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Alex Condon raised to 12,000 from under the gun and found calls from Max Silver in the small blind as well as the player in the big blind. The flop was dealt {3-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}. The players in the blinds checked and Condon continued for 17,500. Silver called and the other player got out of the way. The turn was the {4-Clubs} and both players checked. They also checked the {a-Spades} on the river. Both players revealed a pocket pair, but Condon's {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} was better than Silver's {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}.

In the very next hand, the player in the hijack seat raised to 12,500 and Condon called from the big blind. The flop fell {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Condon checked. The preflop raiser pushed 70,000 and Condon hesitated before calling, turning up {a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} for trips to his opponents flush draw with {7-Clubs}{9-Clubs}. The flush never completed, but even if it had, Condon had a boat by the river when the last two cards fell {6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}.

Hennigan Takes a Big One

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante
John Hennigan
John Hennigan

We walked up to a board of {4-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and a ton of chips in the middle. John Hennigan was heads up and his opponent checked to him. Hennigan bet 75,000 and his opponent folded.

Hennigan is our chip leader as we are now down to four tables.
