Faraz Jaka Eliminated

Level 2 : 400/800, 100 ante

Faraz Jaka raised to 2,000 on the button, Eric Froehlich three-bet to 5,900 from the small blind and Jaka called to see a {K-Spades}{9-Spades}{5-Spades} flop.

Froehlich continued for 6,600, Jaka put out 10,000 (which was forced to be a min-raise to 13,200), Froehlich reraised to 28,000 and Jaka tanked for about two minutes before reraising all in. Froehlich called all in about 71,000 with {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}, well ahead of Jaka's {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}. The {7-Clubs} turn and {2-Diamonds} river were no help to Jaka, dropping him to 1,100 before he busted shortly thereafter.

Froehlich now holds the lead at Table 360.

Seidel Spikes Turn Against De Meulder

Level 2 : 400/800, 100 ante
Erik Seidel
Erik Seidel

Christophe De Meulder almost sent eight-time World Series of Poker gold bracelet winner Erik Seidel to the rail, but thanks to a very lucky turn, Seidel is still alive.

On the {9-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop, Seidel had checked, and De Meulder bet 11,700. Seidel thought for a bit and then announced that he was all in. De Meulder snap-called with the {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts} and was up against Seidel's {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}.

The turn was the {10-Diamonds}, catapulting Seidel to the lead with a set of tens. De Meulder could still hit a jack for a higher set or an eight for a straight to win the hand, but the {2-Diamonds} wasn't it.

Seidel counted out his stack, which was 51,700, and he doubled to 124,000. De Meulder was left with 22,000.

Jake Cody has taken the chip lead at Table 354 after eliminating Andres Garcia.

David Tuthill Eliminated by Ira Marcus

Level 2 : 400/800, 100 ante

David Tuthill was all in for about 45,000 with {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} against Ira Marcus' {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}. The board ran out {Q-Clubs}{J-Spades}{3-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Hearts}, no help to Tuthill, giving Marcus the pot.

Noah Bronstein still holds the lead at Table 353.

Trip Sixes Give Newman Big Lead On Table 356

Level 2 : 400/800, 100 ante

Stewart Newman now holds a big lead over his opponents on Table 356 after taking a good-sized pot from online juggernaut Phil Galfond with trip sixes.

Galfond fired a bet of 7,600 on the {8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} board, and Newman made the call to see the {3-Clubs} land on the river. Galfond began counting out chips and slid forward 16,200. Newman called immediately.

Galfond tabled the {10-Spades}{9-Hearts}, but it was no good to Newman's {10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}.

Kamel Jams On Brenes

Level 1 : 300/600, 100 ante

On the {Q-Spades}{10-Clubs}{7-Clubs} flop, Humberto Brenes had 17,000 in front of him as a bet or raise, and his opponent, Tamer Kamel, was all in. With 32,000 behind, Brenes tanked.

"Oooohhhh, my friend!" Brenes let out with a big sigh while tanking.

Eventually, the man long known as "The Shark" folded, and Kamel won the pot.
