Sklar's Hold'em Rush

Level 24

Limit Hold'em

In the Limit Hold'em section of this rotation Richard Sklar just went on a tear. Sklar won four hands in a row, one of which went as following. Sklar raised under the gun and Tommy Hang three-bet from the button.

Sklar called and the flop brought {J-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{8-Spades}, on which he lead out. Hang called and on the turn, when the {3-Clubs} hit, Hang folded to Sklar's bet.

Fitoussi Finds New Life

Level 23

Stud 8

Fitoussi: {x-}{x-} / {K-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{J-Hearts}{3-Clubs} / {x-}
Benyamine: {x-}{x-} / {K-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{2-Hearts} / {x-}
Lee: {x-}{x-} / {2-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{2-Spades} -fold

On fourth street, Bruno Fitoussi led out with a bet and both David Benyamine and Lee Goldman called. Fifth street saw Fitoussi pair jacks and Goldman pair deuces. Fitoussi bet all in for his last 15,000 and Benyamine called. Goldman tank-folded and the hands were turned over.

Fitoussi showed {Q-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} for trip jacks and Benyamine rolled over {Q-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for a pair of queens. Sixth street was no help to either player and Benyamine flipped up the {8-Hearts} to complete his losing hand on seventh. Fitoussi rolled over the {a-Clubs} and scooped the double.

Fitoussi is now up to around 180,000 in chips.

Sklar Bests Fitoussi

Level 23

Stud 8

Sklar: {x-}{x-} / {2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{6-Spades}{Q-Spades} / {x-}
Fitoussi: {x-}{x-} / {6-Hearts}{A-Hearts}{3-Spades}{9-Diamonds} / {x-}

Richard Sklar checked fourth street and Fitroussi took this opportunity to bet. David Benyamine folded his hand and Sklar flatted to see fifth.

Sklar check-called once again on fifth street and both players checked sixth. Sklar led out out on seventh and Fitoussi thought for some time before letting his cards go. Sklar raked in the chips and now sits around 560,000 in chips. Fitoussi, on the other hand, has dropped to 70,000.

Huge Hand for Pescatori

Level 23

Stud 8

Richard Ashby completed on third and Max Pescatori called. On fourth and fifth Pescatori check-called, and on sixth he hit a pair of queens. The Italian pro lead out and Ashby called. On seventh, Pescatori bet his last 40,000 and Ashby peeked down at his cards before throwing them into the muck.

Ashby: {X-}{X-} / {6-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} / {X-} --fold
Pescatori: {X-}{X-} / {Q-Spades}{4-Spades}{5-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} / {X-}

Wallace Over Anderson

Level 23

Stud

Wallace: {x-}{x-} / {K-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{A-Clubs} / {x-}
Anderson: {x-}{x-} / {4-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} / {x-}

We picked up with the action to find a large pot brewing on sixth street. Christopher Wallace led out on sixth and Anderson went into the tank before plopping out a call. Both players received their final cards and Wallace tapped the table. Anderson checked it back and Wallace rolled over {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{6-Spades} for a pair of kings. Anderson mucked his cards and Wallace was pushed the pot.

"I can't believe that held up," said Wallace as he stacked his new chips. He's now sitting on roughly 470,000.

Sklar Keeps Climbing

Level 23

Stud

Richard Sklar completed on third street and Tommy Hang was his only caller. On fourth street, fifth and sixth Sklar kept betting and Hang folded on the latter. Sklar took down another pot and slowly but surely he's creeping up the ranks.

Sklar: {X-}{X-} / {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}
Hang: {X-}{X-} / {9-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} --fold

Omaha 8

Richard Sklar came into today as the shortest stack but he's still alive and kicking after finding a full double up against Bill Chen. Sklar raised and Chen called from the big blind after which the flop brought {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}.

Chen check-called and on the turn the {J-Clubs} hit. Chen check-called again and on the river, the {3-Clubs}, Chen checked once more. Sklar moved all in and after some hesitation Chen called.

"No low," Sklar said, who showed {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}.

Chen pondered for a bit before showing {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{7-Spades}{8-Spades} and Sklar's hand was good enough to take down the entire pot. Sklar was very happy with this result and he also managed to take the next hand down to put him right back into things.
