Lee Goldman
Lee Goldman

Razz

Richard Sklar completed on third after Calvin Anderson had brought it in and Lee Goldman put in a raise. Sergey Altbregin made the call and Sklar followed suit. On fourth street Goldman bet, Altbregin raised and Sklar decided to let go of his hand.

On fifth street Goldman checked, Altbregin bet and Goldman check-raised to 60,000. Altbregin called and folded on sixth when Goldman continued to bet. Altbregin is now among the shortest stacks while Sklar's stack hoovers around the same number.

Daniel Negreanu Eliminated in 18th Place ($18,254)

Level 22
Daniel Negreanu - 18th Place
Daniel Negreanu - 18th Place

Omaha 8

Daniel Negreanu and Lee Goldman took a flop of {10-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} in a raised pot. Negreanu led out with a bet and Goldman instantly announced a raise. Negreanu three-bet all in for 11,000 more on top and Goldman called.

Negreanu: {A-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Hearts}
Goldman: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}

"I have a flush," said Negreanu.

"There's no flush," replied Goldman.

"It's coming."

While "Kid Poker"'s statement was met with laughter from the table, his prediction was incorrect. The board finished with the {Q-Spades} and the {J-Clubs}, failing to give him a flush and allowing Goldman to finish with a winning Broadway straight. Negreanu was eliminated in 18th place and Goldman now sits at 275,000 in chips.

Ashby Keeps Firing

Level 22

Limit Hold'em

Richard Ashby raised from the button and Lee Goldman made it three bets from the small blind. It folded back to Ashby and he made it four bets to go. Goldman called.

The flop came down {2-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and Goldman checked. Ashby continued his aggression with a bet and Goldman stuck around. The {2-Spades} put two pair on the board on the turn and the action once again went check-bet-call. The river was the {4-Hearts} and Goldman checked for a third time. Ashby fired one last bet, sending Goldman into the tank. He eventually opted to lay his hand down and Ashby was pushed a pot that brings his stack up to 515,000.

Kost Doubles Through Ohel

Level 22

Limit Hold'em

Action folded to Nick Kost in the small blind and he moved out a raise. Randy Ohel thought for a moment before making it three bets to go. Kost four-bet shoved all in and Ohel called. The cards were tabled to reveal that the two were racing for Kost's tournament life.

Kost: {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}
Ohel: {J-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

The dealer fanned {9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Hearts} on the flop, pairing Ohel's eight and giving him the lead in the hand. Kost stood up from the table began to gather his belongings. The {5-Spades} dropped down on the turn and gave Kost the lead with a set of fives. The {4-Clubs} completed the board and Kost was able to ship the double up to around 105,000.
