Kottler Shows the Bluff

Level 25 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante
Jeremy Kottler
Jeremy Kottler

Hand #1: David Borrat raised to 52,000 in the cutoff, Jeremy Kottler called in the big blind, and Kottler check-called another 52,000 on a flop of {3-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{2-Spades}. The turn was the {10-Spades}, Kottler led out for 81,000, Borrat raised to 165,000, and Kottler reraised to 380,000 - wagering roughly half of his stack.

Borrat folded, and Kottler showed the bluff; {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}. This earned him a fist bump from neighbor Kevin Eyster.

Mustapha Kanit Eliminated in 7th Place ($55,710)

Level 25 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante
Mustapha Kanit - 7th Place
Mustapha Kanit - 7th Place

Mustapha Kanit raised to 48,000 from early position, Kevin Eyster called from the small blind, and the flop fell {2-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{q-Spades}. Eyster checked, Kanit fired out another 48,000, and Eyster check-raised to 150,000.

Kanit moved all in for 545,000, and Eyster quickly called.

Eyster: {a-Spades}{6-Spades}
Kanit: {j-Spades}{4-Spades}

Kanit was in rough shape, but he added three more outs when the {3-Diamonds} fell on the turn. Kanit could make the best hand with a non-spade five or a jack, but neither came as the {9-Diamonds} bricked off on the river.
