Kaverman Tank-Folds

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Byron Kaverman raised to 26,000 in the hijack, Pierre Neuville called in the cutoff, and David Borrat defended his big blind. The flop fell {7-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{6-Diamonds}, all three players checked. The turn brought the {7-Hearts}. Borrat checked, Kaverman fired out 32,000, and Neuville folded. Borrat then check-raised to 81,000, and Kaverman called.

The river was the {4-Hearts}. Borrat led out for 120,000, and Kaverman went into the tank. Roughly five minutes elapsed before Kaverman folded, and the Frenchman picked up the pot.

Jeremy Kottler moved all in for 167,000 on the button, and Andrew Lichtenberger reshoved out of the small blind.

Griffin Benger Eliminated in 16th Place ($24,613)

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Griffin Benger - 16th Place
Griffin Benger - 16th Place

Griffin Benger moved all in for 170,000 in the hijack, Fabrice Touil tanked (this is often the case) on his immediate left, then called. The rest of the players folded.

Benger: {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Touil: {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}

The {10-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop gave Benger eight extra outs to make a straight, plus gave him a backdoor flush draw. The {6-Clubs} on the turn was a brick, however, as was the {6-Diamonds} on the river. Benger busted in 16th place, earning $24,613, and Touil is up to 605,000 chips.
