No Chip Munk

Level 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

The entertainment factor has dropped significantly on one of the tables as Justin "Stealthmunk" Schwartz has busted.

According to the table he cold four-bet shoved from the big blind with {9-}{9-} for what remained of his stack and got snapped off by {a-}{a-}.

Jacobson and Hawkins Tangle

Level 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

Martin Jacobson raised to 1,400 from under the gun and Maurice Hawkins three-bet to 3,600 from late position. Jacobson called, the flop came {k-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{6-Spades} and both players checked. The turn was the {6-Hearts} and Jacobson bet 4,800 and Hawkins called.

The river was the {4-Spades} and Jacobson again led, this time for 12,200. Hawkins thought for a while, talking to Jacobson the whole time, but eventually folded {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} face up.

Cada Crushed

Level 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

The 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event champion Joe Cada has bowed out of the tournament after losing a coinflip that lost him all of his chips.

Cada's {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} was racing against {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}, a race that didn't go Cada's way. The {5-Spades}{10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Spades} board kept the queens in front and Cada said his goodbyes before heading out into the warm Las Vegas night.

The Real Moohaha

Level 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

Justin Morgenstern goes by the name of “The Real Moohaha” and it’s not hard to figure out why after five minutes in the same room as him. His loud laugh is ringing out across the tournament floor and his table mates, including Phil Hellmuth, are doing their best not to let it get to them.

Morgenstern was in a hand against the small blind when he was sat in the big blind. They had checked it down to the river of a board reading {k-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}. Morgenstern quickly called a bet from his opponent who then said, “Six.” and he turned over {10-Clubs} for the better flush. He proceeded to give a loud and long, “muahahhaha!!” to the face of his opponent telling him he was so bad and that he was his honey bear.

If he was looking for a reaction so far no one has bitten and Morgenstern is steadily accumulating chips so he could be around for a while. He was particularly keen for this reporter to know he had more than Hellmuth.
