Cassidy Scoops

Level 16

Omaha 8

Joe Cassidy, Jon Turner, and a third player on the button took a flop of {9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{7-Hearts}. Cassidy was first to act and came out firing with a bet. Turner and the button both called, allowing the {8-Hearts} to grace the felt on the turn. Cassidy continued his aggression, prompting a fold from Turner. The player on the button stuck around to see the {6-Diamonds} finish off the board on the river.

At the river, Cassidy tossed out a final bet. His opponent thought for about 30 seconds before moving out a call.

"Nut low and a straight," said Cassidy as he rolled over {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{2-Spades}.

His opponent mucked his cards and Cassidy was pushed the entire pot for a scoop. He's now sitting on about 70,000.

Boyd Falling

Level 16

Limit Hold'em

The completed board read {3-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{J-Spades}{j-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and Dutch Boyd was heads with an opponent. With a significant amount already in the middle, Boyd faced one last bet from his opponent. The two-time WSOP bracelet winner was in the tank for some time before tossing out a call. His opponent rolled over {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}, prompting Boyd to muck his cards and watch as the pot was pushed in the opposite direction. With this hit, Boyd is down to about 22,000 in chips.

Stuery Over Seed

Level 15

Stud

Vitch: {x-}{x-} / {2-Diamonds} -fold
Steury: {x-}{x-} / {J-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}
Seed: {x-}{x-} / {6-Hearts}{9-Spades}{Q-Clubs}

Christopher Vitch was the bring in and action folded around to Aaron Steury in late position. He completed and Huck Seed called from the next seat over. Vitch folded, leaving the two heads up to fourth street.

Stuery pulled a second club on fourth and led out with a bet. Seed cut out a raise and Steury called. He pulled a third club on fifth, but Seed was first to act this time with his queen-high. He led out, Steury came over the top with a raise, and Seed released his cards. Steury picked up the pot and now has about 55,000 to Seed's 16,000.
