Todd Brunson.
Todd Brunson.

Todd Brunson opened the betting to 12,500 and got a call from Alex Bilokur before Byron Kaverman potted it, making it what looked like 48,000 from the big blind.

Brunson moved all in for only a little more, Bilkour ran for the hills and Kaverman called to find out he was in a classic race of {a-Hearts}{k-Spades} versus Brunson's {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}.

Brunson took a deep breath after the {2-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop, having all but locked up the hand. The {8-Clubs} turn cinched it and the {q-Diamonds} river ended things as Kaverman cut out a heap chips to ship over to Brunson
