Hennigan Busts for Redraw

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante
John Hennigan gained steam before fizzling out today.
John Hennigan gained steam before fizzling out today.

Don Nguyen opened to 10,000 in the cutoff, and John Hennigan reraised to 26,500 in the blinds. Nguyen jammed it in, and Hennigan called off his stack.

Hennigan: {4-Spades}{4-Clubs}
Nguyen: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}

Hennigan was unable to catch up as the board came {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{k-Spades}{9-Spades}, and the players are now redrawing for the final three tables.

An Offer You Can't Refuse

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante
Todd Brunson.
Todd Brunson.

Todd Brunson opened the betting to 12,500 and got a call from Alex Bilokur before Byron Kaverman potted it, making it what looked like 48,000 from the big blind.

Brunson moved all in for only a little more, Bilkour ran for the hills and Kaverman called to find out he was in a classic race of {a-Hearts}{k-Spades} versus Brunson's {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}.

Brunson took a deep breath after the {2-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop, having all but locked up the hand. The {8-Clubs} turn cinched it and the {q-Diamonds} river ended things as Kaverman cut out a heap chips to ship over to Brunson

Rheem Sliding

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

Chino Rheem opened to 11,000 in middle position, and Michel Abecassis put his 32,500 in the pot on the button.

"You've been patient, my friend," Rheem said. "You've been patient."

Deciding the odds compelled him to call, Rheem tossed in a call.

Rheem: {k-Hearts}{6-Hearts}
Abecassis: {a-Clubs}{8-Spades}

Both players flopped pairs on the {2-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{8-Clubs} flop, but Abecassis' eights were best, and they stood through the {3-Clubs} and {q-Hearts}.

Buddiga in Beast Mode

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

Pratyush Buddiga just lifted a massive pot off Richard Lyndaker to climb up the ladder.

He bet 65,000 into close to 80,000 on the river with the board reading {9-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{5-Clubs} forcing Lyndaker deep into the tank. Lyndaker suggested they may have the same hand, then after a few minutes, a player at the table called the clock.

Lyndaker let it go without benefit of a countdown.
