Counts from Tables 351 & 352

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Jaka Doubles With 10-7

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

We didn't catch the precise pre flop action, but it appeared as if Leonid Markin had limped the cutoff, and Faraz Jaka had shoved all in for 26,600 from the big blind. Markin, who started the day as the chip leader, made the call.

Markin: {Q-Spades}{J-Spades}
Jaka: {10-Clubs}{7-Spades}

The {K-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{8-Clubs} on the flop was of no help for either player, but the {7-Clubs} on the turn improved Jaka. The {K-Hearts} on the river was a blank, and Jaka doubled.

Clements and Markin Clash

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Scott Clements
Scott Clements

Scott Clements and Leonid Markin were heads up on a flop of {10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}, and Clements led out for 7,300. Markin raised to 21,000, Clements called, and the turn was the {6-Spades}. Clements check-called a bet of 45,000, the {8-Spades} completed the board, and Clements led out for 84,000.

Markin folded {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs} face up, and Clements pushed his cards into the muck facedown.

Koon Finds a Double

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Jason Koon raised all in for 18,400 out of the small blind, and Scott Clements called.

Koon: {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Clements: {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

Koon doubled as the flop, turn, and river came {10-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{8-Spades}{k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}, and is now up to 37,600 chips. Clements, who got off to a hot start today, is still among the leaders with 240,000 chips.

Stein Busts

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Sam Stein - Eliminated (Day 1)
Sam Stein - Eliminated (Day 1)

Connor Drinan raised to 4,200, Sam Stein moved all in for 30,000 or so, and Drinan called.

Drinan: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Stein: {2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}

Stein was in rough shape, and failed to improve on a flop of {8-Clubs}{10-Spades}{7-Diamonds}. He was drawing dead on the turn ({q-Hearts}), and a meaningless {3-Spades} completed the board.

Wright Doubles Through Wolpert

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Larry Wright checked to Leo Wolpert on a {J-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{8-Hearts} board. Wolpert bet out 4,500 and Wright raised it up to 10,400. Wolpert shoved all in and Wright made the call.

Wright: {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
Wolpert: {J-Spades}{8-Spades}

The {Q-Hearts} on the turn gave Wright a straight, and it got even longer with the {7-Spades} on the river. Wolpert's two pair went into the muck, and Wright doubled to about 125,000.
