The 15-event WSOP.com Online Championship Series is drawing to a close, but there's still one event left on the schedule — and it's a biggie. The $215 buy-in WSOP Online Championship Main Event kicks off at 3 p.m. today in Nevada, and participants will be competing for a $200,000 guaranteed prize pool.

Players can buy in directly for $215 or play a last-chance satellite for a chance to grab a huge piece of the pie. Registration and reentries will remain open until 5 p.m. PST, so there's still plenty of time to get in on the action!

Collins Back to Starting Stack

Level 2 : 25/50, 0 ante

We noticed Phil "OSU" Collins in the red section of the Brasilia room and he had a not too shabby start, just lost the profit again though. After a little betting war pre-flop, he called the all in of a short stack for 1,425 with {A-Clubs}{J-Spades} and had a coin flip against {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}. The board ran out {9-Spades}{10-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and none of the overcards from the former November Niner showed up.

FossilMan Chipped Down

Greg Raymer
Greg Raymer

Greg "FossilMan" Raymer was looking at a stack under 1,000 in front of him when he opened in the cut-off for 125 and got a couple of callers.

The flop was {a-Spades}{9-Clubs}{4-Hearts}. Raymer bet 200 and got called by the button. The turn card was the {a-Clubs} and both players checked. The river card {10-Spades} saw Raymer bet 400 and there was a brief pause before his opponent folded and Raymer gathered some much needed chips.

"Come Back In 20 Minutes"

Level 2 : 25/50, 0 ante

Deann Dozier has had a rough start in the first one-and-a-half levels and only had very few chips when we walked by. Taking a glance, she noticed that and tried to hide the stack with her hands. "Come back in 20 minutes when I have tripled it," she said with a smile. We'll do that. ;)

First WSOP Event for Magazine Editor

Level 2 : 25/50, 0 ante

Ross “Startch” Jarvis, Editor of Poker Player magazine, is playing his first ever WSOP and is understandably excited. We stopped by to see how his first ever level of play was in a bracelet event.

“Terrible.” Jarvis said as a third of his chips seem to have been distributed to other players, but he also said it was a great table and he was enjoying it so far.

We watched one hand where Jarvis was in the small blind and saw a flop of {3-Hearts}{6-Spades}{3-Spades}. A check-fold was his action on that board. Long way to go.

Salty Start For Louis

Level 2 : 25/50, 0 ante

We saw Louis Salter open to 125 from early position and he got called one seat over. On the {2-Spades}{10-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop, Salter check-raised from 225 to 625 and got called. After the {Q-Diamonds} turn, Salter bet 850 straight away and then folded when his opponent reluctantly raised to 1,700.
