Dempsey Rivers Walters

Level 24 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Sean Dempsey in the small blind and Clyde Walters in the big blind had tangled a couple of times before and they just got involved in a big one.

Dempsey made the raise to 44,000 and Walters raised it up to 85,000. Dempsey made the call and they saw a flop of {4-Spades}{7-Spades}{8-Clubs}. Walters called a bet from Dempsey to see the {q-Clubs} fall on the turn.

Dempsey now made it 180,000 and again Walters made the call. The river was the {5-Diamonds} and after looking at his stack Dempsey moved all in.

Walkters instantly called and tabled {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} but was incredulous at the hand that had him beat, Dempsey’s {q-Diamonds}{5-Spades}, the river giving host wop pair. There a small bit of chip throwing before his bet was slid over to Dempsey’s stack.

Ryan Olisar opened to 40,000 from early position and Elior Sion moved all in from the button. Takashi Yagura also moved all in from the small blind and Olisar got out of the way.

Yagura: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

Sion: {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

The flop of {3-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{4-Spades} left Sion drawing dead. The inconsequential {10-Spades}{8-Diamonds} completed the board and Sion headed to the payout desk.
