Stein Doubles Up

Level 29 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Scott Davies raised on the button, Sam Stein three-bet to 140,000 in the big blind and Davies called.

The flop came down {A-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{5-Clubs} and Stein continued for 100,000. Davies called, the {7-Diamonds} hit the turn and Stein checked. Davies bet 276,000, Stein check-raised to 625,000 and Davies reraised all in for 1.555 million effective. Stein called.

Davies: {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}
Stein: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

It was set over set with Stein on the right side of it. The {7-Clubs} river was no help to Davies, who was down to 264,000 as a result.

The following hand, however, Davies doubled up with {A-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} holding up against Stein's {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}.

Colman checked, Suriano bet 200,000 and Colman called to see the {3-Clubs} river. Colman check-called 400,000 from Suriano , but mucked when Suriano tabled {6-Diamonds}{3-Spades} for a full house.

A Flush For Davies

Level 29 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

In a pot that was seemingly going to be a small one we just saw some serious fireworks. The board read {A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{7-Hearts} when both players checked and on the river, the {8-Diamonds}, Davies checked again. Stein bet 45,000, Davies check-raised to 188,000 and Stein replied by putting in 432,000.

Davies announced that he was almost sure he couldn't fold this hand, and after about a minute he called showing {4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}.

"I'm sorry man, I wasn't slow rolling. I really thought about folding," Davies apologized, and Stein seemed to understand the gravity of the decision.

Suriano Can't be Stopped

Level 29 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

At least for it seems like there's no stopping Davide Suriano. The Italian player, who's totally hidden behind a hat, sunglasses and hoodie, has been playing very aggressively and Daniel Colman has not had an answer just yet.

We just saw Suriano take down five hands in a row followed by a little one for Colman. Colman's been seeing lots of flops with his opponent, but Suriano hasn't slowed down one bit.

They checked to the turn of a {9-Spades}{10-Hearts}{A-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} board where Suriano bet 50,000. Colman called, the {2-Spades} river fell and Suriano bet 150,000. Colman called, but mucked when Suriano tabled {A-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for a pair of aces.

Stein Gets Some Back

Level 28 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Sam Stein raised from the button to 50,000 and Scott Davies quickly fought back with a three-bet to 150,000. Stein gave it some thought and called after which the flop brought {A-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}.

Davies bet 100,000 on the flop and Stein called, which put the {K-Spades} on the turn. Both players checked this time around and the river was the {5-Clubs}. Davies quickly checked again and Stein bet 250,000 after about 20 seconds.

"You got it," Davies said as he mucked.

"I actually had quite a big pair, that board was not good for me," Davies added as Stein regained some ground.
