Salles Sold Out

Level 8 : 200/400, 50 ante

We noticed the {6-Hearts}{9-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop and Gualter Salles as well as his opponent got their chips in through a betting war. Salles turned over {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs} but it was no good against the {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} of his opponent. After the {3-Diamonds} turn and the {7-Diamonds} river, the chips were counted and the Brazilian had only 6,000 - covered by about 500 in chips.

Can't Bust a Pro Yet

Level 7 : 150/300, 25 ante

There was a raise and a call before Athanasios Polychonopoulos moved all in with {Q-Hearts}{8-Clubs}. He got called by {5-}{5-} and improved on the {9-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades}{4-Diamonds} board and his Asian opponent joked "Oh man, can't bust a pro yet. How can an Asian lose a flip?" They both laughed, Polychonopoulos could need a few double ups still though.

Ramdin Rocks the River

Level 7 : 150/300, 25 ante

We arrived at the table as Victor Ramdin had an all in chip in front of him and his stack being counted. Ramdin had {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and caught an ace on the river of a {k-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{10-Hearts}{2-Spades}{a-Spades} board. His opponent had made the call with {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts} and was pushing a healthy stack of chips towards Ramdin.

Seidel Falls to Muehloecker

Level 7 : 150/300, 25 ante

Thomas Muehloecker was sitting on the button and made a raise to 650. Erik Seidel had paid the big blind and put his tournament life at risk when he pushed his smaller stack all in. Muehloecker made a quick call.

Muhloecker: {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}
Seidel: {9-Clubs}{k-Spades}

Seidel had two overcards and a good chance of catching up to Muehloecker's pocket pair. The dealer spread out {3-Clubs}{2-Spades}{4-Hearts} for the flop and then flipped over {8-Diamonds} and {j-Diamonds} for the turn and river. The small pair held and Seidel has met his end in this event.

Loni Not Lonesome

Level 7 : 150/300, 25 ante

Loni Harwood is enjoying the company of quite a few chips early in level seven of approximately double the average. Until the {10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{10-Spades}{9-Clubs} river, there were already more than 5,500 in the pot and Harwood bet 3,200. Her opponent called and Harwood flipped over {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for trip 10s as winning hand.
