Saout Sinks Somerville

Level 16 : 500/500, 2,000 ante

Antoine Saout bet 15,000 into a decent-sized pot heads-up with Jason Somerville on a {7-Hearts}{4-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop. Somerville shoved and Saout made the call for his tournament life with {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}.

Somerville held {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}, but he was left with just a pair of fives and a shorter stack when he missed the {q-Spades} turn and {k-Spades} river.

Ho Doubles

Level 16 : 500/500, 2,000 ante

Right about now Arthur Miller may be wishing he didn't make it 9,500 with the {8-Spades}{2-Spades}. Maria Ho shoved behind for just 22,000 more, he appeared forced to call.

Ho had {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and doubled through on the {j-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{10-Spades} board.

D'Angelo Leads Once More

Level 15 : 500/500, 1,500 ante

Ryan D'Angelo has moved back into the chip boss seat after tussling with Maria Ho.

Ho bet 17,500 into a 60,000-chip pot with the board reading {8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{8-Spades}. D'Angelo made the call and when they both checked the {10-Clubs} river, Ho announced ace-high.

D'Angelo turned over {10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for the missed flush draw, but rivered pair.

Carter Myers Eliminated in 22nd Place (6,573)

Carter Myers - 22nd
Carter Myers - 22nd

Carter Myers and Arthur Po moved all in and the player a couple of seats to his left, Arthur Pro, moved all in, too.

That spelled trouble for Myers, who tabled {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}, but was a big dog to the {k-Spades}{k-Clubs} of Pro.

The dealer put out {9-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{3-Spades}{8-Spades}. Pro joked that he was waiting for Myers to hit a set and almost saw it, but it was not meant to be and Myers went to the pay-out desk.

Max Silver bet 44,000 into what looked like a 60,000-chip pot on the river with the board showing {x-}{q-}{a-}{8-}{8-}.

Simeon Naydenov pushed all in to effectively put Silver to the test for his last 45,000. He called with {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}, but headed to the cage to get paid when Naydenov felted {a-Hearts}{8-Spades}.
