Seidel Sent Packing

Level 12 : 100/100, 800 ante

Details were a bit sketchy on this one but Erik Seidel just got out of a chair with {q-}{10-} sitting in front of it, an ace-high board in the middle of the table with neither a queen or a ten there, and a gaggle of chips being pushed elsewhere.

Action Jeff

Level 12 : 100/100, 800 ante

Jeff Garza made a rather quick call for his tournament life when Anton Smirnov pushed in on a {q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{j-Hearts} board.

It turned out Garza's {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} was ahead of Smirnov's {6-Hearts}{2-Hearts}. He then iced the double-up after the {a-Diamonds} river fell.

Falling Fast

Level 11 : 100/100, 600 ante

Now the money has been reached, the inevitable flurry of bustouts is happening.

Heinz Kamutzki was one of those to go, closely followed by Dutch Boyd who just fell at the hands of Jason Somerville.

Ho Pushes On Negreanu

Level 11 : 100/100, 600 ante

With the familiar call for payouts coming on table after table around the room as the event is now in the money, Maria Ho and Daniel Negreanu tangled over a pot.

We caught the end of the action with Negreanu betting 8,500 into about 15,000 on a {k-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} board.

Ho took a minute, then pushed all in. Negreanu claimed ownership of a baby flush and a four that he would eventually fold as Ho showed {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}.

The Bubble Has Burst

Level 11 : 100/100, 600 ante

After just a couple hands of hand-for-hand play, Pradeep Rajasekaran shipped it short with {J-}{J-} and got called in a few spots. One opponent isolated on the {a-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{5-Spades} flop with {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}, and Rajasekaran became the bubble when no jack came on the {4-Spades} turn or {2-Clubs} river.

Saout Strikes Silver

Level 11 : 100/100, 600 ante

We caught Antoine Saout betting almost 20,000 into what appeared to be a 25,000-chip pot heads-up with Max Silver.

The board read {10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and Silver thought about it for a minute, pump faked a fold to at least make the dealer think he was done, before eventually giving up.

Somerville Relieved to Take a Pot

Level 11 : 100/100, 600 ante

Jason Somerville limped and then called a raise from Max Silver to 1,500, and they were heads-up to a flop of {k-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}.

Somerville check-called a bet of 4,000 from Silver on the flop, and then both checked the {k-Hearts} turn and {6-Hearts} river. Somerville turned over {a-Spades}{q-Hearts} saying, “Do not turn over those cards. If you turn over ace-deuce, I’m leaving."

He stayed put, though, as Silver mucked his cards.

RandALLin

Level 11 : 100/100, 600 ante

Randal Flowers came in short and appears willing to ship it rather than concern himself with limping into the money.

He recently pushed all in on a {7-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{2-Spades} flop, putting four other players, including chip leader Ryan D'Angelo, to a decision.

They all decided to fold and let Flowers bloom a little.
