Ramdin Crippled by Better Ninety-Seven

Level 9

2-7 Triple Draw

A late position player opened with a raise and Victor Ramdin made it three bets to go from the button. The blinds folded and the original raiser called. Ramdin's opponent took two new cards while Ramdin opted for just one. Action checked to Ramdin, he continued with a bet, and his opponent called.

For the second draw, Ramdin's opponent pulled one card and Ramdin stood pat. Ramdin's opponent led on this street and Ramdin called. Both players stood pat going to the final draw and both checked the final betting round. Ramdin's opponent fanned {9-}{7-}{6-}{4-}{2-} and Ramdin picked up his hand from the felt, stared at it, and shook his head. Ramdin showed {9-}{7-}{6-}{5-}{2-} for a worse nine-seven-six and watched as the pot was pushed to the other end of the table. With this hit, he's down to just 1,000 in chips.

Crain Busts One

Level 9

Limit Hold'em

We arrived at the table in time to see a player all in for his tournament life with Eric Crain and a third player playing for a side pot. The flop read {4-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{Q-Clubs} and Crain's active opponent checked over to him. Crain checked it back and the {7-Clubs} fell down on fourth street. Action checked to Crain for a second time and he flung out a bet. His opponent folded and the hands were turned up.

Crain: {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
Opponent: {A-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}

Crain led with a pair of sevens and they held up through the {2-Hearts} on the river. Crain was pushed the pot and he now sits at 45,000. He informed us that he recently won an extremely large pot-limit Ohama pot to gain a solid portion of his chips.

Williams Eliminated Before Break

Level 9

Pot-Limit Omaha

Just before the break, we saw David Williams get the last of his stack in against an opponent on a board of {3-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}.

Williams: {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades}
Opponent: {8-Spades}{5-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}

The turn and river brought the {q-Diamonds} and the {6-Hearts}, giving Williams' opponent a winning straight and eliminating the bracelet winner from play.
