Two Pair for Mizrachi

Level 6

No-Limit Hold'em

The board read {10-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{8-Spades} when we found Robert Mizrachi heads-up with an opponent. Action checked over to Mizrachi and he led at the pot for 525. His opponent called and the two watched as the {3-Diamonds} finished off the board.

After seeing his opponent check, Mizrachi once again reached into his stack. He came out with one final bet of 1,625. His opponent went into the tank for about 30 seconds before dropping forward a call. Mizrachi rolled over {10-Spades}{8-Clubs} for two pair, his opponent mucked, and Mizrachi took down the pot. He's now sitting on about 8,400.

Ninety-Eight for Ivey

Level 6

2-7 Triple Draw

A late positioned player opened with a raise and Phil Ivey called from the button. The blinds got out of the way, leaving the two heads-up to the draw. The original raiser took one card, while Ivey opted for two. Ivey's opponent continued out and the nine-time WSOP bracelet winner called.

For the second draw, Ivey's opponent once again pulled one while he opted for two. Ivey called a bet and watched as his opponent took one new card for a third time. Ivey, on the other hand, stood pat. Both players checked the final betting round and Ivey showed {9-}{8-}{6-}{5-}{2-}. His opponent mucked and Ivey pulled in a pot that brings his stack to 6,850.

Elezra Makes a Wheel

Level 6

2-7 Triple Draw

We arrived at the table in time to see Eli Elezra all in on the final draw. Elezra's opponent stood pat, while Elezra opted for one card, throwing away a deuce.

Elezra: {7-}{4-}{3-}{2-}
Opponent: {7-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-}

Elezra was drawing thin heading to his final card, attempting to make a wheel against his opponent's made seventy-six. He squeezed out his card and jubilantly rolled over a {4-}, completing his wheel and ensuring his renewed life in the tournament. He now has about 3,500 in chips.
