One For Paur

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Taylor Paur
Taylor Paur

The player under the gun opened to 40,000, Jason Duval three-bet to 105,000 in the cutoff, Taylor Paur four-bet to 195,000 in the big blind and the under-the-gun player five-bet to 330,000. Duval folded, Paur called and they proceeded to check down a board of {A-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{K-Spades}{9-Hearts}.

Paur's {A-Spades}{Q-Spades} bested his opponent's {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} to win the pot.

A Couple of Big Stacks Clash

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

We picked up the action after a {5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} flop and Tom Alner bet 42,000. Austin Bursavich made the call and the turn was the {10-Clubs}. Alner checked, Bursavich bet 121,000 and Alner made the call.

The river was the {8-Hearts} and both players checked. Bursavich turned over {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for top pair with top kicker and Alner mucked.

Rasmussen Loses Two Pots, Still Has Heaps

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Thayer Rasmussen has 1,605,000 chips despite losing two back-to-back pots.

The first of those two pots saw an all-in bet of 60,000 from the player under the gun, a bet that Rasmussen called from the small blind. Rasmussen showed {K-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and was against the {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}. A {K-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{6-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} board saw Rassmussen hand over 60,000 chips to his opponent.

Loss number two saw Gregory Lucchese raise to 50,000 from the hijack seat and Rasmussen three-bet to 130,000 from the button. Lucchese called and the dealer spread the {5-Hearts}{2-Spades}{J-Diamonds} flop. Lucchese checked, Rasmussen bet 155,000 and then quickly folded when Lucchese check-raised all-in.
