Two Pair For Sternheimer

Level 3 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Philip Sternheimer raised from the cutoff and Kevin Song, who just entered the tournament, called from the big blind.

The flop brought out {Q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and Song check-raised, which was called by Sternheimer.

On the turn the {5-Spades} hit and Song bet after which Sternheimer quickly raised it up. Song made the call and the river was the {5-Hearts}. Song check-called a bet and Sternheimer showed {Q-Spades}{10-Clubs}, which was enough to take the pot down.

Hsiung Stays Alive

Level 3 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Limit Hold'em bracelet winner Kenny Hsiung was just all in for his tournament life on the river in a hand that started out five-way.

We picked up the action on the flop with five players involved, and the first three checked to Richard Sklar who bet. The player in position called and Kenny Hsiung check-raised. Domenico de Notaristefani three-bet, Sklar and the player in position folded after which Hsiung called.

On the turn, the {Q-Hearts}, Hsiung bet and De Notaristefani called. The river was the {K-Diamonds} and Hsiung bet again and this time Notaristefani raised.

"Really? You got kings?" Hsiung said, right before he moved all in for just a few more chips.

De Notaristefani made the call and mucked when Hsiung showed {K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}.

"That would've been really, really sick," Sklar said about the scenario in which Hsiung would've ran into pocket kings.

Israelashvili Joins The Tournament

Level 3 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

And we've counted some more chips.

Greenstein Didn't Win a Hand

Level 3 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

As players were moved around we looked for Barry Greenstein all across the tournament room, but we found no trace.

Greenstein, who's cashed one event this summer so far, did not win a single pot according to his former table mate Rep Porter.

Greenstein has three World Series of Poker bracelets under his belt, but his fourth will have to wait a bit longer.

Esfandiari Folds His Set

Level 2 : 400/800, 0 ante

The board read {A-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} when Antonio Esfandiari bet and Marwan Abdelal raised it up.

After a while Esfandiari started talking and said, "Can I really fold a set to one extra bet?"

Another 20 seconds went by and Esfandiari mucked his {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} face up.

Vitaly Lunkin laughed and seemed very surprised with Esfandiari's fold, but the One Drop winner's still above the starting stack.
