Three-Quarters for Richey

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

Brett Shaffer opened for 4,800 and was potted by Brett Richey in the cutoff. The button and blinds folded, and Shaffer repotted to put Richey all in. Richey called.

Richey: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}
Shaffer: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{k-Spades}{q-Hearts}

Both players held kings, but the {j-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop meant Richey had a draw to a low that would give him more of the pot. The {3-Clubs} hit, which also gave him a flush draw, and the {7-Spades} river meant Richey had a live deuce for low, while the players chopped the high. The rapper extraordinaire gained some chips to get past 50,000.

Reiss Doubles Through O'Dea

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

In a limped pot, JR Reiss bet 6,000 on a flop of {q-Spades}{2-Spades}{8-Diamonds} out of the big blind, and two opponents made the call. On the {9-Clubs} turn, Reiss shoved all in for 17,700, and the first player called. On the button, Eoghan O'Dea moved all in, prompting the caller to contemplate his hand and count his stack. After a couple of minutes, he folded {a-}{3-}{6-}{7-} face up, saying he was afraid he was drawing dead.

Reiss turned over {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for a set, but he had been outdrawn on the turn when O'Dea hit a straight with {a-}{j-}{10-}{x-} with spades. The river was a savior for Reiss: {9-Diamonds}, bringing a full house and giving him the whole pot.

Bach Still Hot

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

David Bach's excellent run continued, as he just busted a player after opening to 2,000, getting three-bet to 9,000, and making the call. The flop came {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}, and Bach's opponent shoved all in, with Bach quickly calling.

Bach: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{9-Spades}
Opponent: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}{4-Hearts}{8-Clubs}

Bach had flopped top two and a straight draw and was miles ahead of his foe's aces. The {7-Diamonds} turn locked it up for Bach.
