Shulman Played

Level 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

Barry Shulman raised to 500 from early position and made a relatively quick call when the button three-bet to 1,175.

They went heads-up to the {j-Hearts}{7-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop and Shulman checked. The button bet 1,250, then snap-called when Shulman shoved. Shulman had {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} but was drawing pretty thin versus the button's {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}.

He hit the rail fast following the {4-Hearts} turn and {9-Diamonds} river.

Feel The Power

Level 6 : 100/200, 25 ante
Davide Suriano is hunting another one here.
Davide Suriano is hunting another one here.

2014 WSOP $10,000 Heads-Up champ Davide Suriano is on the rise here in the latest $1,500 and is playing a little power poker.

He raised it up to 400 under the gun and the button and big blind both obliged. After the big blind checked, Suriano also fired 600 chips at the {6-Spades}{5-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop and only the button called.

The {2-Clubs} that fell on fourth brought another bet from Suriano, who made it 2,200 and the button refused to fold. Finally on the {k-Diamonds} river the button got the hint, folding to a bet of 5,500.

That's Why You Can't Be Late

Level 7 : 150/300, 25 ante
Eddy Sabat
Eddy Sabat

In the first hand back from the dinner break, Eddy Sabat found himself pushing all in on the flop facing a bet from his heads-up opponent. The board read {k-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Spades} and eventually Sabat's opponent called off his chips with {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}.

Sabat had flopped a set with {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and it was all over after the {5-Hearts} turn.

"First hand back from break," Sabat said with a smile. "That's why you can't be late."

May The Schwartz Be With You

Level 7 : 150/300, 25 ante

November Niner Ylon Schwartz decided the best course of action following one opponent's raise and another's call on a {k-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop was to put enough chips in the middle to cover both opponent's stacks.

Apparently it was the right one as they both folded and Schwartz won the decent sized pot without showdown.
