Bizzarro Busts In Standard Spot

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Justin Schwartz opened for 4,000 and John Bizzarro moved all in for 40,000 from the button. Adrien Guyon in the small blind asked for a count of Schwartz’s stack before moving all in.

Schwartz dumped his cards and Bizzarro turned over {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} giving Guyon a fist bump when he saw his {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}. The board ran out {3-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and Bizzarro was on his way.

Roller Coaster Double Up for Puchkov

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

After a raise to 4,000, Konstantin Puchkov moved all in for 22,700 and got called by a player with {A-Diamonds}{9-Spades}. Puchkov was ahead with the {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts} but the opponent made a straight on the {J-Hearts}{7-Spades}{8-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} turn. Fortunately, the {4-Hearts} river provided the third heart and the Russian doubled up with a flush.

Not Another Final Table for Prada-Moed

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Michael Marckx and Angela Prada-Moed started both on a short stack today but their luck faded into different directions. While Prada-Moed remained short, Marckx was able to accumulate quite a few chips.

Just now, Prada-Moed three-bet shoved for her remaining 25,000 chips with {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and Marckx as initial raiser looked her up with {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}. The board ran out {Q-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{3-Spades}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Prada-Moed grabbed her belongings and headed to the payout desk.

Poons Takes Down Two

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Matthew Wakeman
Matthew Wakeman

We didn't catch the entire action but one short stack ended up all in with {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts} and Matthew Wakeman held the same hand in {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}. Morgan Poons had them both covered and also the better hand in {K-Clubs}{K-Spades}.

The {7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{6-Spades} board delivered no miracle for either short stack and Poons is now on six digits.

Odonnell Done For

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Kevin Odonnell
Kevin Odonnell

Kevin Odonnell has just been eliminated. He had just been involved in a big pot with Thomas Muehloecker and Neo Hoang where Hoang bet 22,000 on a {9-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{q-Spades} board and, with 25,000 behind Odonnell laid it down.

Odonnell open shoved the next hand but he was looked up by a player with {a-}{q-} and a queen on the flop finished him off.
