Skoldstedt Above Average

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Viktor Skoldstedt was able to score another nice pot with pocket queens on a {10-Diamonds}{5-}{2-Diamonds}{9-}{x-} board and extracted value on the flop and river. The opponent mucked and claimed to have had jacks in the spot. There are also two other familiar faces on the same table as well and you can find their chip counts below.

Hennigan Crippled and Busted Shortly After

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

The winner of the 2014 $50,000 Poker Players' Championship, John Hennigan, has just been eliminated. He reraised all in after a short stack was all in from early position and had the opponent covered.

Hennigan also held the better hand in {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts} versus {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} but the board ran out {Q-Spades}{4-Spades}{6-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} to leave him ver short with only 3 big blinds. We were not back at the media desk when we heard the payout from his table and saw Hennigan standing up.

Sapiro Takes A Chunk of Harwood’s Chips

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

From the big blind Loni Harwood led out and got raised to 31,000 by Andrew Sapiro on the turn card of a board reading {8-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{10-Spades}.

Harwood made the call and the river card was the {4-Hearts}. Harwood checked and Sapiro went for a bet of 32,000. Harwood cut out the chips and slid them forward for a call but mucked when she saw the {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} trips of Sapiro.
