Hands #102-103: Colman Now With a Commanding Lead

Level 24 : 600,000/1,200,000, 200,000 ante
Daniel Colman
Daniel Colman

Hand #102: Daniel Negreanu raised to 2.5 million, winning the pot.

Hand #103: Daniel Colman raised to 2.5 million on the button, Negreanu called, and the flop was {4-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{j-Spades}. Negreanu check-called a bet of 2.5 million, the turn was the {a-Spades}, and Negreanu checked again. Colman fired out another seven million, Negreanu called, and the {4-Hearts} completed the board.

Negreanu checked a third and final time, Colman bombed out 18 million, and Kid Poker went into the tank. He made his contingent giggle a few times, stretching and swirling in his chair, and then reached for chips. He was shaking his head, talking to a non-responsive Colman, then called.

Colman showed {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for a full house, and his fans exploded into a chorus of cheers as he was pushed the 60 million-chip pot.

The {8-Clubs} hit the river and both players checked. Colman showed {A-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} for a full house of jacks full of eights. Negreanu shook his head and flashed {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} before his hand was dragged into the muck.
