George Danzer
George Danzer

George Danzer raised to 4,000 in the cutoff and Matt Glantz called from the big blind. After the {k-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop was dealt, Glantz led for 2,000. Danzer went all in for 2,100 and Glantz threw in the extra 100.

Danzer: {5-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Glantz: {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{j-Spades}{q-Clubs}

The {4-Spades} turn and the {a-Spades} river brought Danzer's tournament to an end.

Chidwick Survives

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

On a flop of {j-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} Stephen Chidwick got his last 5,100 in and Matt Glantz raised. The big blind called, and Glantz and his live opponent checked through the {10-Hearts} and {2-Clubs}. Chidwick showed {a-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{3-Spades}{5-Hearts} for two pair on the flop and a low draw that ended with a boat. The big blind mucked, and Glantz's {a-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} was good for the side pot.

Stiers Quarters Shack-Harris

Level 15 : 1,300/2,500, 0 ante

Brandon Shack-Harris opened for a raise in early position, and Joseph Stiers made it three bets. Action folded to Shack-Harris, and he called to see a {3-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{9-Spades} flop. Shack-Harris check-called, and both players checked the {3-Spades}. Shack-Harris bet the {6-Diamonds}, and Stiers called.

Shack-Harris showed {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{j-Spades} for the nut low and deuces, but Stiers held {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for a chop on the low and a pair of sixes for high.
